Concerns are growing over the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) and its handling of the case against Ryan Routh, the man accused of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump.
During a recent Fox News segment, host Jesse Watters and Florida Congressman Mike Waltz raised alarm over the DOJ’s request for an indefinite delay in Routh’s trial, questioning the motives behind this move and demanding transparency in the investigation.
The DOJ’s decision to seek more time has triggered speculation about its true intentions. Critics like Watters and Waltz argue that the delay could be a deliberate attempt to interfere with Trump’s chances of returning to the White House.
Judge Eileen Cannon had initially scheduled Routh’s trial for next month, but the DOJ has requested more time, citing the overwhelming volume of evidence that still needs to be reviewed. According to the DOJ, this includes hundreds of interviews, numerous subpoenas, and 4 million gigabytes of data that investigators must sift through.
Jesse Watters wasted no time in criticizing the DOJ’s explanation, accusing the Biden administration of intentionally slowing down the case to obstruct Trump’s path to a potential victory in 2024. “Biden’s Department of Justice is doing everything it can to stop Trump from taking back the White House,” Watters said during the segment. He questioned why so much data—amounting to millions of gigabytes—was still under review, calling the delay suspicious.
“This guy went to Ukraine twice, was flagged with the CIA, Homeland Security, state and customs, and he tried to kill the president,” Watters added. “And now there’s 4 million gigabytes of data to go through? Come on, this sounds like they’re slow-walking this trial and praying to God that Trump doesn’t win.”
Watters was joined by Congressman Mike Waltz, a member of the Trump Assassination Task Force, who echoed Watters’ concerns. Waltz emphasized the critical need for transparency in this high-stakes case, given the potential national security implications and the severity of the allegations.
“That allows the FBI to say it’s under investigation. We’re not going to answer any of your questions indefinitely, and that is completely unacceptable,” Waltz said. He criticized the DOJ and FBI for stonewalling basic inquiries into Routh’s activities, particularly regarding his background and potential foreign connections.
One of the key issues raised by Waltz during the segment involved Routh’s travel to Ukraine. Waltz asked how Routh, a convicted felon, was able to travel back and forth to Ukraine, raising suspicions about whether he was recruited or influenced by foreign intelligence services. “How was he traveling back and forth to Ukraine? Was he approached and recruited by some foreign intelligence service?” Waltz asked.
The congressman also questioned how Routh obtained a firearm despite being a convicted felon. “How did he get a serial scratched weapon despite being a multiple-time convicted felon?” he asked, calling for more thorough investigations into these troubling details.
Waltz stressed the importance of transparency, urging the DOJ to answer these critical questions and provide lawmakers and the public with a clearer picture of the case. He suggested that even if sensitive details need to be handled behind closed doors, the committee investigating the case deserves answers.
The discussion took on a more ominous tone when Waltz and Watters raised the possibility that delaying the trial could amount to election interference. Waltz noted that having an “enemy of the United States” try to kill a leading presidential candidate is a matter of serious national concern, and the lack of transparency only adds to the suspicion.
“We have an enemy of the United States trying to kill our leading presidential candidate. This is election interference,” Waltz said. He emphasized that delaying the trial and withholding information could have dangerous implications for both Trump’s candidacy and the overall electoral process.
Watters agreed, calling on Waltz and others in Congress to keep the pressure on the DOJ to provide answers. “We got an election. We got a really mysterious assassin, two of them, that we’re just not getting answers to. The stonewalling has to stop,” Watters declared.
The conversation also veered into broader concerns about foreign interference and the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of national security issues. Watters pointed to the administration’s soft stance on Iran as an example of how foreign threats may be slipping through the cracks. He noted that Biden’s administration has been urging Israel to refrain from taking aggressive action against Iran’s nuclear ambitions, while also unfreezing billions of dollars in Iranian assets.
“Biden-Harris are saying lay off their nukes, don’t touch their nukes, Israel. Don’t do anything to them. We got to be nice. They already unfroze billions of dollars for these people. It’s very, very suspicious,” Watters said, drawing a connection between foreign policy missteps and the ongoing lack of transparency in the Routh case.

As the trial delay request remains under consideration, Watters and Waltz are urging the DOJ to provide clearer answers about Routh’s activities, his connections to foreign entities, and the evidence being collected. Both men stressed that the American public deserves transparency, especially with the 2024 election drawing near.
With millions of gigabytes of data still to review, and questions about Routh’s past left unanswered, the case remains a focal point of political controversy. Whether or not the Biden-Harris administration can address these concerns without further undermining public trust remains to be seen.
For now, the trial of Ryan Routh and its implications for Trump’s presidential campaign remain in limbo, leaving many Americans anxiously awaiting more information.
I hope someone is looking into the connection of the two assassin’s connection to Black Rock. Were they being paid by Black Rock. Does Hillary have a connection to this?
I’m sure Hitlery does Helen, she’s a pro at murder.
Both comments point out some of my first thoughts and recollection about those most nefarious characters lurking in the shadows playing servant puppeteer for Satan. Of course all of this delay is only “strategic tactic” to get by the election, whereby they’re planning to steal it again and thereby never see any accountability for these and so many other treasonous crimes that have been and are being perpetrated. I only take this development as a “clear indicator standing by itself, of the fact that major well-known nefarious persons are behind this.”
They hold back on this major event of assassination attempts during a US Presidential campaign but evil demonic minion special counsel Jack Smith is blasting the false prosecutions of Trump this week to even more ridiculous levels with the aid of a corrupt political partisan judge Tanya Chutkan unsealing court evidence now with only a few weeks till the election! Banana Communist Republic! Why was Kamala in Central America so often during her term, because she was “learning the ropes” and making arrangements for the ongoing invasion along with the fundamental change America AGENDA!
Welcome to the East German Stasi!
Obvious he is a Deep State proxy, just like Thomas Matthew Crooks in the 1st attempt! A DOJ cover up is in progress!
F#@K the Deep State traitors!
Baloney. This creep can be convicted on his hiding in the bushes and running alone.
Florida need to immediately prosecute for attempted murder, knowing the feds will never go to court. The way the perp was acting, he is a CIA attribute.
