A grand jury has indicted Alec Baldwin on charges of involuntary manslaughter in relation to the tragic ‘Rust’ shooting. If found guilty, he could potentially be sentenced to a maximum of 18 months behind bars.

“We look forward to our day in court,” said Baldwin’s attorneys, Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro, in a statement on Friday, according to Variety.

In New Mexico, criminal charges against Alec Baldwin were dropped last April. Alec Baldwin was charged last year with two counts of involuntary manslaughter for the tragic shooting death of Halyna Hutchins.

In October 2021, during the production of the film ‘Rust’ in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Alec Baldwin tragically shot and killed Halyna Hutchins, a 42-year-old woman, and injured Joel Souza, a 48-year-old man.

Following this incident, prosecutors sought a second examination of the firearm used by Alec Baldwin.

Firearms expert Lucien Haag conducted this analysis and determined that the gun had not been altered or modified in any way.

“Although Alec Baldwin repeatedly denies pulling the trigger, given the tests, findings and observations reported here, the trigger had to be pulled or depressed sufficiently to release the fully cocked or retracted hammer of the evidence revolver,” firearms expert Lucien Haag wrote.

“From an examination of the fired cartridge case and the operationally restored evidence revolver, this fatal incident was the consequence of the hammer being manually retracted to its fully rearward and cocked position followed, at some point, by the pull or rearward depression of the trigger,” Haag wrote.

  • “We look forward to our day in court,” said Baldwin’s attorneys, and then they added “Ka-ching !!!”.

  • Involuntary manslaughter is to mild . Maybe plus criminal negligence responsible for a death! what he did would only happen if he intended to kill a person or he is the stupidest most incompetent person in the world. Has he ever denied being stupid? If so he admitted to murder!

    • FUCK that incompetent braindead diaper filling scumbag PEDOPHILE Schmo ByeDUMB the FRAUD illegitimate “president”????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • I have read that people on the set said that Baldwin HABITUALLY had his finger on the triggers of the guns he handled. He also had a habit of uncocking the single action revolver BY PULLING THE TRIGGER, rather than manually uncocking the hammer. He was warned this was an unsafe practice, but the arrogant clown continued to do it.

  • Send the assho** to prison, I never liked him and Alec Balwin always bullied people and attacked President Trump continually.
He thought he was funny what he did and to his own family was uncalled for.

  • Seriously…Come CLEAN dude!!! The life you lead this time around determines where you’ll go next !! Holy Chit DO THE RIGHT THING!

  • #1 18 months isn’t near long enough for this dumbass
#2 can we just stop giving this asshat any attention so he’ll just disappear?
What does it take to ruin a career in Hollywood???

Oh- yeah- just be for Trump, the 2 nd amendment or the constitution

  • Let’s not kid ourselves. This m wan ill get off with nothing greater than a slap in the wrist, if that. That’s the way it works in our current 2-tier system of “justice.”

  • Weird, but how can pointing a gun at someone and intentionally pulling the trigger and shooting her in the gut be involuntary manslaughter, especially after the shooter had taken great pains to ensure there wouldn’t be anyone else around except one of his minions?

  • Hey Baldwin, you did take a life and you should try ‘acting’ like a man and accept your responsibilities and your punishment.

  • What? The smartest man in the world (just ask him) charged with manslaughter? If he was so smart, why did he point a loaded gun (even with blanks) at another person and then pull the trigger? Physics and physical evidence proved him to be a liar. In order to have shot her, the gun would have to have been pointed at her (the bullet goes down the barrel in a straight line). It was a direct shot, no ricochet. Also, it was proven that the gun was in good working order. Only pulling the trigger could have fired the gun. He was the only one holding the gun at the time of discharge. Those simple facts prove that he was negligent at best, a liar second and a stupid idiot most of all. He will probably claim that it was Trump’s fault……

  • Fuck that SCUMbag motherfucking smug ASSHOLE bastard Cockbreath douchebag. Hope the prick FRIES like chicken. It is what that piece of shit deserves ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • The “Rule of Thumb” when ANY LOADED FIRE ARM is visible,”on set,” on a range etc., in a residence, out in the yard, hunting, et al… is a minimum of 5 feet distance. Also, the firearm should not – CANNOT be pointed at any living person. Lastly, it is the person’s responsibility (and liability) to insure the firearm is safe, unloaded and even “secured” (that means with tie-dies through the slide or static firing pin assembly or having a hammer). Try entering any authorized “Gun Show,” you will pay your entry fee…never get past inspection. Or better yet, go to a Trump Rally, there are a row of ten security agents operating “search & seizure” inspections. That’s almost to “undressing” folks. You won’t get in…even “freebies.” Read A Bible. KJV. Psalm 128. 10 Commandments everywhere. God Bless. I’ll be honest, Me think’s the “Priviledged Classes” are slowly being whittled down. Pray.

  • When I see him being taken away in handcuffs then I’ll believe it. Until then I don’t think he’ll spend one minute in jail. Our justice system is badly broken.
