In a court filing on Tuesday, the Justice Department (DOJ) officially acknowledged the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
This suppressed fact, which has now come to light, raises questions about its potential impact on the 2020 presidential election.
According to polling data, a significant majority of seventy-one percent of Americans believe that if accurate reporting had been done on Hunter’s “Laptop from Hell,” it could have influenced the outcome of the election.
The confirmation by the DOJ was based on evidence showing that Hunter Biden had left the laptop at a computer store and that its contents matched what authorities had obtained through a search warrant of his iCloud account.
“Investigators also later came into possession of the defendant’s Apple MacBook Pro, which he had left at the computer store,” prosecutors wrote:

Following the initial publication of the laptop story by the New York Post, CNN journalist Natasha Bertrand authored a widely criticized and subsequently debunked article for Politico.
Bertrand relied on the testimonies of “numerous former intelligence officials” to propagate a deceptive and inaccurate account regarding the origins of Hunter’s laptop.
The admission of the story’s falsehood by the establishment media took more than a year. The Washington Post, after 532 days of not actively pursuing the story, acknowledged that Hunter’s laptop contains “genuine communications that can be verified.”
CNN finally acknowledged the authenticity of Hunter’s “laptop from hell” after initially dismissing it as “Russian disinformation” and fabricated.
The New York Times confirmed that the emails found on the laptop belonged to Hunter after almost two years.
Additionally, fifteen media personalities speculated that the laptop emails were likely Russian propaganda, with CBS News reporter Lesley Stahl falsely claiming in 2020 that the laptop could not be verified.
