On Thursday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” Joy Behar, one of the most misnamed television celebrities, was walking out on the stage at the beginning of the live show and took a fall on the floor just as she was almost trying to climb into her seat.
The 79-year-old left-wing shrew performed a face-plant on stage as the satellite feed was capturing the spill to be broadcast out to the world.
Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines gasped at the scene prior to coming to their senses and attempting to help Behar get back up.
Whoopi Goldberg even went over to where Behar was on the floor to help her by telling her to “just stand.” As if that wasn’t what the longtime star had in mind.
Hostin and Haines helped Behar get up off the floor, and a production assistant even ran out onto the stage to lend a hand as well.
Truth be told, I don’t like Behar even a little. I think she’s nasty, condescending, and a mean person, but I am happy to report that she didn’t suffer any serious injury, and like a trooper, she shook it off and went on to do the show.
While the comedian was somewhat visibly shaken by the incident, she recovered quick enough and laughed it off in a way that only a veteran entertainer could.
“Twenty-five years, that has never happened — who do I sue?” she said as she sat down at the table.
Later, Behar got serious and told the audience that if you take a fall you should monitor your symptoms.
“The main thing — just to talk seriously — when Bob Saget fell, he died,” Behar said. “If you hit your head, and you feel dizzy or you have blurred vision, or you feel like you want to go to sleep, go to the doctor. Because that will kill you.”
She concluded the incident in a comedic, self-demeaning way, saying, “I’m a klutz!”

The comic is no stranger to controversy. Last week, Behar was slammed for complaining that the Russian invasion of Ukraine might upset her European vacation planning.
Last month, Behar virtue-signaled to the audience that she was going to wear a mask in public from now on, but then she got caught in a New York City restaurant maskless days later.
In November, the host scolded Americans for not appreciating President Joe Biden’s accomplishments. Meanwhile, his accomplishments were creating high inflation that is killing Americans’ spending power, high gasoline costs because he killed Trump’s energy policies that made us energy independent and Biden made us once again dependent on foreign oil from countries that hate our guts. Another accomplishment is Biden allowed over 2 million illegal aliens to cross our borders with impunity and he shipped them to cities around the country and didn’t test them for COVID at a time he created vaccine mandates for American citizens. There are a bunch of other “accomplishments” that made our lives worse since he took office.
