Former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, known for his criticism of President Trump, appeared on CNN with journalist Jim Acosta to address the controversial FISA surveillance of American citizens.
During the discussion, McCabe acknowledged that the FISA application involving Carter Page was a misstep by the deep state in their efforts to monitor the Trump administration.
The unexpected admission caught CNN reporter Jim Acosta off guard.
Jim Acosta: Back to Trump’s post on Truth Social, Andrew. He’s calling on House Republicans to block reauthorizing it (FISA), saying, “Kill FISA. It was used illegally against my campaign. This was a rare moment for Andrew McCabe on CNN, as he is not known for being truthful.
McCabe was ultimately fired from the FBI, with his integrity constantly under question. For instance, McCabe approved a FISA warrant to surveil Carter Page, and his testimony in Congress contradicted statements made by former DAG Rod Rosenstein.
These instances are just a few examples of McCabe’s dishonesty.

Under Mueller, it was seen as a threat and viciously opposed by those he pulled up in the chain of command.
I am explaining this because numerous Agents have expressed the need for you to know McCabe’s and Mueller’s pattern of “target and destroy” has been utilized on many others, without regard for policies and laws. I, myself, am a casualty of this reprehensible behavior and I have spoken to well over 150 other FBI individuals who are casualties as well.
Even in his book, disgraced former cop McCabe presented a conflicting account compared to what has been previously disclosed. McCabe detailed an alleged scheme at the White House involving General Flynn.
He asserted knowledge of the precise number of times and timing of General Flynn’s comments on the dark sky outside his office during a controversial meeting with corrupt officers Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka shortly after President Trump’s 2017 Inauguration.
The only existing record of this encounter is a document authored by Strzok months later, which does not include such details.

McCabe admits the FISA used for Carter Page was a “mistake.” It had to be a deliberate mistake. The excuse was Page had contacts with Russians. The FISA application claimed Page was seeing Russians and not on behalf of the US government. That suggested suspicion. The word “not” was added to lie. Page was an “operational contact” for the CIA from 2008 to 2013.

Biden and a young attorney general named W. Clinton]). PS A word for those of you still holding that line FBI agents are really good old boys/girls/its. Well, you may be partially right, but would you like to know why many of us old military and civilian cops refer to FBI agents as; “PFC’s (the US Army rank of private first class) in business suits”?
