Donald Trump is a meme machine, constantly tossing out zingers that make supporters cheer and critics cringe.

On Friday, during a Cabinet meeting at the presidential retreat at Camp David, Maryland, the president held a bing-athon while describing the prowess of our Patriot anti-missile technology. “Bing bing! Bing bing bing!”

Our sister site Townhall called it his most memeable moment:

He was asked if he would permit Ukraine to manufacture Patriot missile interceptors under a license when he went on his bing-fest.

“The other day you read that five missiles were shot. They were going 8,600 miles per hour … and they were big missiles, and they were shot at Jordan, and our guys were there — bing, bing, bing, bing, bing. Five missiles, and we shot all before they got close,” he said.

Although leftist commentators went with their usual outrage mode, calling the moment “childish” and suggesting it’s time to , it’s actually a term he’s used plenty in the past:

Administration officials struggled to contain their laughter but failed.

It wasn’t all fun and games though — the president also addressed the serious questions about licensing our Patriot anti-missile technology to Ukraine to aid them in Russia’s seemingly endless war against them. He now seems to be leaning against the idea:

“You have to be very judicious, but you have to be very careful. Now, we have not agreed to that. We’re talking about it, but it’s a hard thing to give away that kind of technology, and I don’t think this would ever happen,” he said.

He added that “nobody else” has that sort of anti-ballistic missile defense capacity and called the Patriot system “incredible” while suggesting that he was not inclined to grant Kyiv’s request for a license because “we have to be very careful about letting somebody build them.”

Ukraine says the Patriot system is essential in its efforts against Russia:

Zelenskyy says the Patriot system is crucial to Ukraine’s ability to intercept incoming ballistic missiles from Russia.

The issue “remains a top priority” for Kyiv, he said Friday following a call with Vice President JD Vance.

“We agreed that our teams will stay in touch and work through everything discussed today,” Zelenskyy wrote in an . “I thank the United States for its support of Ukraine and our people.”

The “bing bing” may have been the most memeable moment coming out of Camp David so far — but the day is far from over.
