Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow and a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, recently expressed his disdain for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. In a candid interview, Lindell mentioned, “no one wants Tim Walz” as governor. He hinted at the possibility of challenging Walz in the 2026 gubernatorial race.

Lindell, a Minnesota resident, shared his observations with the Daily Caller. “Everywhere I go, no one wants Tim Walz. They don’t,” he remarked. Lindell further noted that even Democrats are disenchanted with Walz’s leadership.

The MyPillow CEO is seriously contemplating his next political move. “I’m looking at every single thing, option and doing my due diligence,” Lindell stated. This isn’t Lindell’s first flirtation with a gubernatorial bid; he previously considered running in 2018 and 2022 but ultimately decided against it.

Governor Walz was recently chosen as the running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 elections. However, the duo failed to galvanize enough support to clinch victory. In a recent interview with the New Yorker, Walz expressed interest in a 2028 presidential bid if he deemed his “skill set” suitable.

Despite his ambitions, Walz has faced criticism over his political integrity. He once falsely claimed to be a combat veteran, though he left the National Guard before deployment to Afghanistan. This misrepresentation was just one of several controversies that have shadowed his career.

Walz also faced backlash for a controversial policy requiring schools to install tampons in boys’ bathrooms. This move earned him the unflattering nickname “Tampon Tim.” Such policies have only fueled criticism from Republicans and some moderate Democrats.

The Democratic Party’s tendency to nominate extreme candidates like Walz has been a point of contention. Republicans, meanwhile, continue to capitalize on these missteps. As long as Democrats persist with such candidates, Republicans are poised to seize electoral victories.

For Walz, leaning on the advantages of incumbency might be his safest bet. His radical policies may not resonate on a national stage, making another gubernatorial run more pragmatic. Meanwhile, Lindell’s popularity could pose a significant challenge to Walz.

Incumbency, however, remains a formidable advantage in elections. While Lindell is a well-known figure, toppling a sitting governor is no small feat. Yet, with growing discontent among Minnesotans, the political landscape remains unpredictable.

The GOP’s strategy might hinge on presenting candidates who appeal to a broader base. Lindell, with his business acumen and public presence, could fit that mold. His potential candidacy might energize conservative voters disenchanted with current leadership.

Walz’s leadership has often been characterized by divisive policies. His approach has alienated not just Republicans but also some within his party. This division could be a focal point in upcoming elections.

Conservatives argue that policies like those of Walz are out of touch with mainstream America. Such measures are seen as catering to a narrow, progressive agenda that doesn’t reflect the broader electorate’s values. This misalignment might be a critical issue in future political contests.

Lindell’s potential candidacy could spotlight these ideological divides. The contrast between his conservative views and Walz’s progressive policies could shape the electoral debate. Voters may find themselves at a crossroads, choosing between two starkly different visions for Minnesota.

As the political scene evolves, both parties will likely reassess their strategies. Success hinges on understanding and addressing voter concerns. For now, figures like Lindell represent a pushback against perceived political overreach.

While the future remains uncertain, the present narrative is clear. Republicans see an opportunity to reclaim leadership by emphasizing traditional values. As debates unfold, the focus will be on who can best represent Minnesota’s diverse population.

Ultimately, the 2026 gubernatorial race could serve as a bellwether for broader political trends. Whether Lindell decides to run or not, the conversation around leadership and policy direction is gaining momentum. Minnesotans will watch closely as potential candidates emerge and platforms are defined.

  • Walz aka Old Yellow Stain should just resign and find a new career because he’s totally useless he’s just like Harris in over his head he’s not a leader but a big failure. He’s a woke pusher and nobody cares about him. His career is over he just doesn’t understand that yet.

    • Correct Sue, he’s also accused of stolen valer and makes the stupidest speeches. He’s a failure egging on protesters and the latest one was when he said the biggest problem America faces is old white men..
And he’s an old white man himself, and he’s a Moron.
The problem with Mike Lindell running for Governor in Minnesota, is it would be a miracle if he wins since Minnesota, votes for stupid Communist Democrats every time, just like Commifornia, New York, Oregon, Washington State and so on.

      • “….Minnesota, votes for stupid Communist Democrats every time, just like Commifornia, New York, Oregon, Washington State and so on.”

Yup. You’re correct. Birds of a feather flock together. DemoRats/Leftists are Satanic trash.

    • Walz is not useless. As long as he represents the Democrats, the GOP looks much better. Mike Lindell’s campaign strategy should be to use his My Pillows to prevent us from hearing another stupid speech from Tampon stolen valor Timmy. Sound insulation.

  • Stolen Valor Walz has ZERO class…plus he looked goofy as H*** as Cackles’ running mate in ’24. Dude needs to give up politics, maybe get a job at McDonalds.

  • If I lived in Minnesota, I would vote for Mike Lindell. However, Lindell is a Christian and Minnesota has been over run with Christ-hating, 3rd world, raping, murdering reprobates. Lindell doesn’t stand a chance. The forces of darkness stick to their own kind.

    • Quite true Glenn; and that state did become a hellhole when Obama made sure of it by pumping in loads of Middle East Reprobate Scum and Satanic worshiping minions!

  • Walz is off the Wall and nothing but a complete whack job loony!

How the Minnesotans ever voted such a total flunky creep into that office makes me wonder what is wrong with those people out there!

He’s really just right for communists and atheists!
