Checklist: Cover Davos focus, spotlight the president and cabinet remarks, summarize key Capitol Hill and court developments, include exact quoted reactions, and retain the lighter-embed items.

Davos is the headline and it deserves the attention. President Trump is on the ground in Switzerland delivering a Special Address to the World Economic Forum while cabinet members are using the platform to press a straightforward America-first message. This gathering of global elites is getting a blunt Republican reality check about the failures of decades of globalization and open-borders policy. Expect tough talk, trade posture, and a visible contrast between American sovereignty priorities and the Davos status quo.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent have already delivered remarks that push back hard on past elites’ assumptions. Lutnick’s comments were framed as a primer for the president’s address, arguing that the era of exporting jobs has been a mistake for working Americans. That tone is deliberate and aimed at making the case that national interest and economic independence matter more than globalist platitudes.

Lutnick’s comments serve as a solid warm-up act for President Trump. There is massive anticipation for the president’s appearance at Davos due to his aggressive push to acquire Greenland and tariff threats against European countries.

European elites are sweating right now. Good.

At home, the Hill remains busy with oversight and hearings that reflect Washington’s ongoing debates over security, spending, and government accountability. Committees are examining Homeland Security, fraud and taxpayer theft, public lands policy, budgeting pressures from healthcare costs, and foreign ownership risks in critical infrastructure. Those hearings are practical, aimed at exposing failures, and driving policy changes that prioritize American workers and safety.

The legal front has been equally active, with significant litigation moving through federal courts and the Supreme Court docket demanding attention. A district court denial in a case involving sanctuary jurisdictions shows the judiciary is still a pivotal battlefield for disputes over federal authority and enforcement. Meanwhile, the Court is set to hear arguments in a case over presidential removal power that could have institutional implications for the presidency and administrative control.

I’m not sure that “apology” is sincere. It reads with a sarcastic tone. Either way, it’s an embarrassing effort.

I think they also need a CNN retraction; this character posting on his X account isn’t sufficient.

Make him grovel on air. They need to cure it in the same forum they aired it.

On the political communications side, the administration continues to score wins with a sharp, populist message: protect jobs, defend borders, and hold bad actors accountable. That message played out in a press briefing with emphasis on the administration’s first-year accomplishments and a lighter moment involving, of all things, a binder clip. Political theater aside, the core message remains — economic sovereignty and firm foreign policy posture.

Cabinet activity is likewise concentrated on enforcement and oversight. The Attorney General traveled to Minnesota to meet with prosecutors and law enforcement in response to chaotic protests and interference with immigration enforcement. That conventional law-and-order posture signals the administration’s intent to bring accountability and restore order where federal interests are impeded.

Actions have consequences, and they may not only come from the Department of Justice.

Court developments continue to challenge state-level maneuvers and election-related disputes, and Republican legal teams are aggressive about appealing adverse rulings to the Supreme Court. Those moves are strategic and meant to preserve institutional balance and electoral fairness as defined by conservative legal principles. Meanwhile, the justices issued a set of opinions on criminal and civil procedure that will shape litigation dynamics in the months ahead.

Looking ahead, the calendar includes testimony from notable figures like former Special Counsel Jack Smith and scheduled hearings on foreign policy matters, including the posture toward Venezuela and other regional security questions. These sessions will test narratives, press officials on facts, and put policymakers on the record about national security priorities. Republicans on the committees intend to keep the focus on accountability and protecting American interests.

There’s human interest news too: Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha announced they’re expecting their fourth child — a boy — in July. These personal notes intersperse the serious policy work and remind readers that the political life includes family milestones amid high-stakes governance.

Finally, lighter fare makes an appearance in the newsletter format tradition. Some items are meant to poke fun or highlight odd moments from the briefing room and international stages, while others spotlight grassroots and cultural stories that resonate with conservative readers. For now, keep your eyes on Davos — the messaging from Switzerland is shaping policy talk back home and will echo through the rest of the session.

I wouldn’t mess with …

  • A great example of this bullshit Circus taking place across America is the following which I provide this excerpt from elsewhere on this site; with my own comment in closing!

“Bessent’s comments were both pointed and theatrical, the kind of rhetoric that plays well in conservative circles and at Republican events. He tied Newsom’s public posture to broader complaints about governance in California: migration patterns, budget shortfalls, and visible homelessness. For Republicans, those talking points reinforce the narrative that progressive governance in big states has consequences beyond ideology.

I think it’s very, very ironic that Governor Newsom, who strikes me as Patrick Bateman meets Sparkle Beach Ken, may be the only Californian who knows less about economics than Kamala Harris. He’s here this week with his billionaire sugar daddy, Alex Soros, and Davos is a perfect place for a man who – when everyone else is on lockdown, when he was having people arrested for going to church, he was having thousand-dollar-a-night meals at the French Laundry – and I’m sure the California people won’t forget that.

And, my message to Governor Newsom is the Trump administration is coming to California. We are going to crack down on waste, fraud, and abuse.

And I was told he was asked to give a speech on his signature policies, but he’s not speaking because what have his economic policies brought? Outward migration from California. A gigantic budget deficit. The largest homeless population in America. And the poor folks in the Palisades who had their homes burned down. He is here hobnobbing with the global elite while his California citizens are still homeless.

Shame on him. He is too smug, too self absorbed, and too economically illiterate to know anything.”

They left out one major point here! What Newsom has done is CRIMINAL and he should be locked away in prison for the rest of his life! That is of course if anyone in our Government and Judicial System actually really care about Justice Being Served and upholding the Laws of the Land; Rule of Law must apply straight across the board for all or there is no justice!

Arrest, charge and prosecute Newsom NOW!!!

You and I both know that right now it’s “Rules for thee but not for me” just like back in ancient times when Monarchies and Emperors with their inner circle of barons and lords what we call the Elites today, and so yes it may take a full scale Revolution and a lot of agony to fix this damned to hell mess! It is heading to hell in a hand-basket as the actual Devil has the grip right now with the Freemasonry and Deep State fake-out system in place!
