Dan Bongino hosts a FOX News show titled “Unfiltered with Dan Bongino”. The host is adamant about what his show is all about. Bongino makes no excuses for his platform. He is there to stand up for law enforcement and defend the basic rights of the Constitution.

The former New York City policeman and Secret Service agent is proud of his conservative roots. Bongino does not apologize for his views and opinions, nor will he shy away from asking the tough questions.

The popular conservative TV host recently did a one-on-one interview with a radical Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader from New York. Initially, there was a refreshing level of civility between both men. Bongino consistently tried to focus on the violence BLM has perpetrated in our cities.

However, Hawk Newsome continually tried to insinuate that Bongino wasn’t allowing him to talk. Anyone watching the interview could clearly see Newsome dominated the conversation. Bongino gave him every opportunity to speak his mind.

When the host, exercising standard journalistic professionalism, tried to interject a pertinent question, the BLM activist insisted he was being interrupted. He was not. Bongino wanted answers for his viewers. He is not afraid to ask the tough questions, and he expects answers.

Towards the backend of the interview, Bongino stressed one vital question that is on the minds of all Americans, but especially New Yorkers. Bongino wanted to know his stance on violence and rioting. Continually, Newsome tried to sidestep the question.

Incessantly, the BLM radical tried to deflect, even using innuendos from Dr. Martin Luther King. Bongino wasn’t falling for it. The host doubled down multiple times on one question, “Do you condemn riots and burning down buildings after a police use-of-force incident you don’t like?”

Newsome’s answer was so open-ended that Bongino repeated his question. Subsequently, the interview grew increasingly more contentious. The men began talking over one another, mostly because Newsome refused to answer Bongino’s question.

Newsome kept insisting he didn’t condone violence, but he also would condemn such. Bongino inferred that the confusing answer was avoiding the question. He said the BLM leader was too cowardly to take a stand.

Bongino then called Newsome out on his refusal to provide an honest answer to a simple question. The host chastised the BLM leader, “You seem to talk a lot of junk, and then when I put you on the spot, you won’t answer a damn question.”

Newsome tried to make a bogus comparison to how Americans felt about Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks. This insane reference drew a wide-eyed, bewildered stare from the host. Bongino repeated his stance that Newsome was too cowardly to give a straight answer.

Then, Newsome made a half-baked attempt to save face by saying Bongino was trying to bait him. The host wasn’t doing any such thing. Bongino wanted an answer to a straight-forward question. Like most of the liberals today, they don’t have straight answers.

They deflect, blame and try to shame. Thankfully, proud conservatives such as Dan Bongino take an “unfiltered” approach to dealing with these cowardly, radical liberals. We need to see more conservatives’ making such outspoken stands for what is right.
