Report: FBI Obstructs Investigation, Suggests Trump Shooter May Have Had Accomplices

Months after the shocking attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, the nation remains on edge. The gunman, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was neutralized on the scene, but key questions about the attack remain unanswered.

Why did security fail? Who, if anyone, helped Crooks? And why is the FBI so secretive about the investigation?

The FBI’s handling of the case has only fueled growing skepticism. Despite initial claims that Crooks acted alone, an increasing number of lawmakers, security analysts, and private investigators aren’t buying it.

A seasoned private investigator, Doug Hagmann, has been leading an independent probe into the attack. His team has reportedly interviewed over 100 individuals and traced electronic communications linked to Crooks. Hagmann has hinted at a larger conspiracy, possibly involving a network of operatives.

Meanwhile, some members of Congress are demanding answers. Republican Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana, a former law enforcement officer, has joined the effort to uncover the full truth.

Higgins confirmed that while a Secret Service sniper ultimately stopped Crooks, it was a local SWAT officer who first engaged the shooter. Yet, many other details remain murky, leading some to question if the FBI is deliberately withholding information.

The July 2024 attack at a Trump rally was one of the biggest security breaches in modern U.S. history. Crooks managed to fire multiple shots before being neutralized. The incident raised alarming concerns about gaps in Secret Service protocols, especially given that Trump had been publicly targeted before.

Key unresolved issues include:

Higgins has noted that no comprehensive toxicology report was ever released for Crooks. Some investigators speculate he may have been on psychiatric medication, which could have influenced his actions.

“If this was an average criminal case, we’d have toxicology reports and a full background analysis,” said Higgins. “Why is this case different?”

On social media platforms like Twitter and Truth Social, theories about Crooks’ possible accomplices have gained traction. Many compare this case to past high-profile assassinations, such as:
