Disney+ and Hulu have launched a new reality competition series called The Mob, pitting a dozen celebrities against each other in a mafia-themed game built around deception, loyalty and cash prizes of up to $250,000.

The show comes from the same production company behind The Traitors, but swaps that series’ format of civilians and celebrities mixed together for an all-celebrity cast. Contestants include familiar names from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Selling Sunset, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and The Sopranos.

The premise borrows heavily from classic mob movies. Twelve celebrities are sent to a villa in Italy, where they must complete mafia-themed tasks to stay in the game. One player, chosen by the group, becomes the Don, with the power to decide who earns money, who remains in the competition, and who gets eliminated.

That power comes with a catch. Other contestants can pledge loyalty to a different leader at any point, which means a Don’s control can collapse quickly if the group turns. The format is designed to force players to weigh trust against self-interest as alliances shift throughout the season.

Actress Parker Posey hosts the series and also serves as an executive producer. Posey has appeared in Scream 3, The White Lotus, You’ve Got Mail and Dazed and Confused.

The first two episodes of The Mob premiered Monday, October 26, 2026, with new episodes releasing weekly. The season finale is scheduled for Monday, November 16. The series is streaming on both Disney+ and Hulu.

Hulu’s basic, ad-supported plan costs $11.99 a month, while the ad-free tier runs $18.99 a month. Viewers looking to bundle services can get Disney+ and Hulu together starting at $12.99 a month for an ad-supported package, with bundles including Disney+, Hulu and Max reaching $32.99 a month for an ad-free experience.
