This individual went on to carry out a devastating attack outside Kabul Airport, claiming the lives of 13 US servicemen and women along with 169 Afghans.

As if Afghanistan wasn’t enough, reports have emerged regarding another potential foreign policy debacle in Niger. The situation there threatens to surpass even the chaos witnessed during the Afghanistan withdrawal.

The US has received a trade proposal from the military junta in Niger.
The Russian-supported junta in Niger is offering to free the 1,000 US soldiers currently stranded at the base in return for control of the $100 million American airbase located in the country.

In March the country suspended its military agreement with the US. The US military had some 650 personnel working in Niger in December, according to a White House report to Congress. The US military operates a major airbase in the Niger city of Agadez, some 920km (572 miles) from Niamey, using it for manned and unmanned surveillance flights and other operations.
A drone base known as Air Base 201 near Agadez was also built at a cost of more than $100m. Since 2018 the base has been used to target ISIL (ISIS) fighters and Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM), an al-Qaeda affiliate, in the Sahel region.

If the Democrats think they will have Joseph Robinette Biden for a second term, that old man (I am 80 and far more vigorous with no cognitive issues) with his many medical and cognitive issues is probably the worst person whom they could have as a candidate for President of the United States. He could die in office. He could die before being inagurated. He could die before the election.
