In the aftermath of the assassination attempt at Donald Trump’s Saturday rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, two Pittsburgh police motorcycle officers who were injured have been reassigned and taken off their cycle unit roles.
Reports indicate that these officers were summoned to aid in the Former President’s motorcade during the weekend rally.
However, conflicting accounts have surfaced regarding whether they received appropriate authorization from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.

According to reports, the Pennsylvania State Police had asked for help from Pittsburgh motorcycle officers for Trump’s motorcade.
This resulted in four officers being hit by shrapnel during a shooting at the rally.
The injured officers received initial treatment at the scene, and one of them later received additional medical care at a hospital.
Following the incident, two motorcycle unit supervisors were reassigned from their positions amid allegations concerning the authorization process for their participation.
