n a recent appearance on the All the Smoke podcast, hosted by former NBA players Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, Vice President Kamala Harris left listeners baffled with her peculiar stories and use of a fake accent.
The episode, intended to discuss topics like race, identity, and her journey as a political figure, took an awkward turn when Harris delved into a bizarre story about buying a pork roast after learning of a major political development.
During the interview, Harris adopted a forced accent while speaking about racial identity, which seemed to fall flat with her hosts.
“I’m really clear about who I am, and if anybody else is not, they need to go through their own level of therapy, that’s not my issue,” she declared, drawing a perplexed reaction from listeners.
Her statement seemed meant to address questions surrounding her mixed-race heritage, but the delivery felt inauthentic.
As the conversation shifted, Harris surprised the hosts and listeners further by sharing a personal story.
She claimed that after learning President Joe Biden had dropped out of the 2024 race, she impulsively went out and bought a pork roast.
“Look, from the time the president called me and told me he wasn’t running—everything was just in speedy, speedy motion. I was not sleeping so well,” she explained. “That one morning, I had a few hours of sleep…and I just went out and got a pork roast and started marinating it,” she added with her signature laugh.
This anecdote, intended to humanize Harris and make her more relatable, instead left many scratching their heads. Matt Barnes, one of the podcast hosts, tried to go along with the story, but the awkwardness was palpable.
Harris’s laughter punctuated the strange tale, adding to the uncomfortable vibe.
The segment quickly made waves on social media, with clips of Harris’s odd remarks circulating online.
One particularly telling moment was the expression on Stephen Jackson’s face during her story. His blank stare seemed to suggest that even he couldn’t quite make sense of what he was hearing.
Many critics noted that Harris’s attempt to connect with her audience through casual conversation backfired.
Her use of a forced accent and an out-of-place story about marinating a pork roast came across as pandering, especially to an audience that values authenticity.
Rather than coming across as relatable, Harris’s stories felt rehearsed and disconnected from the conversation’s original focus.
Aside from the pork roast story, Harris also tried to evoke nostalgia by talking about her friendships from childhood.
“My best friend from kindergarten is still one of my best friends. Stacey Johnson! We used to go to the clubs in her father’s Seville,” Harris said with a cackle, attempting to share a lighthearted moment. However, much like her previous anecdotes, it didn’t seem to resonate with her audience in the way she might have hoped.
The interview, meant to give listeners insight into Harris’s personal life and thoughts on race, ended up being remembered more for its awkward moments than its substance.
Harris’s attempts at humor and connection missed the mark, raising questions about her ability to connect with everyday people—something critics have long pointed out as one of her weaknesses.
Ultimately, the conversation that was intended to bolster her image and appeal to a broader audience instead fueled online criticism.
Many took to social media to express their disappointment, calling out her inauthenticity and awkward delivery.
As Harris continues to position herself for future leadership roles, including a potential run for the presidency, moments like this one highlight the challenges she faces in winning over skeptical voters.
Authenticity is key in today’s political landscape, and for many, Harris’s performance on the All the Smoke podcast missed that crucial mark.

Netflix, a company already on shaky ground with many conservative viewers, just managed to shoot itself in the foot—again. This time, co-founder and chairman Reed Hastings decided it was a great idea to donate a whopping $7 million to Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. That’s right. The same Kamala Harris who’s been pushing a radical agenda of higher taxes, insane regulations, and identity politics.
Netflix cancellations spike after co-founder Reed Hastings donates to Kamala Harris
Corporations Never Learn
What is it with these corporations and their obsession with leftist politicians? You’d think after seeing what happened to Bud Light, Target, and Disney, these companies would finally start to realize that aligning with radical, out-of-touch liberals doesn’t pay off. But no. Netflix is diving headfirst into the same trap—alienating its conservative customer base for the sake of pushing a political agenda that most Americans simply don’t agree with.
And let’s be honest: this was a colossal mistake by Hastings. Kamala Harris isn’t some unifying, widely accepted figure. She’s one of the most controversial political figures today, known more for her pandering than any real achievements. By backing her, Netflix is sending a clear message to its millions of conservative customers: “We don’t care what you think. We’re doubling down on woke politics.”
Well, Netflix, we hear you loud and clear. And many of us are responding the only way we can—by canceling our subscriptions. I’m personally canceling mine today. I refuse to give another dollar to a company that’s actively working against my values. Why should I pay for a service that supports a politician who’s looking to destroy the very foundation of this country?
The #CancelNetflix Movement Is Just the Beginning
The backlash was immediate and massive. Within days of Hastings’ donation being made public, the hashtag #CancelNetflix began trending all over social media. Thousands of fed-up Americans, much like myself, took to Twitter (or X, if you prefer) to voice their disgust and post screenshots of their canceled accounts. The response was overwhelming.
The Numbers Don’t Lie: Netflix’s Cancellation Crisis
According to Bloomberg, Netflix saw its highest spike in cancellations this year right after Hastings’ endorsement of Harris. The numbers are staggering.
Also the Communist Muslim homosexual Barack Hussein Obama has Stock in Netflix.
I thought no donations were supposed to exceed $2,500.00 or am I wrong.?
She has told the story of making pancakes with her nieces when she learned of Biden’s drop from running. Again, she is changing the story to fit the interviewers.
