On Sunday, an ABC panel discussed the possibility of Joe Biden stepping down and being replaced by another Democrat after a new poll released by The New York Times and Siena College showed Donald Trump leading in five key swing states.
With the 2024 election fast approaching, Biden is currently trailing behind Trump in these crucial battleground states.
Americans have expressed dissatisfaction with the persistent inflation, high gas prices, and wars or rumors of war that have characterized Bidenomics.
A New York Times poll revealed that Trump is leading by ten points in Nevada, six in Georgia, five in Arizona, five in Michigan, and four in Pennsylvania.
The only state where Biden has maintained support is Wisconsin; he holds a slim two-point lead there.
George Stephanopoulos, host of ABC’s “This Week,” said the new poll conducted by New York Times and Siena College among 3,662 registered voters from October 22 to November 3 may lead to rising speculation among Democrats that Joe Biden should step aside and make room for another Democrat.
“Voters are just plain frustrated across the board — 76% of adults in this poll say the country is headed in the wrong direction,” Stephanopoulos said.
Associated Press executive director Julie Pace chimed in: “They don’t know who that Democrat would be right now — I don’t think that people look at Kamala Harris and feel like she is ready…”

David Ignatius, a columnist for the Washington Post, recently suggested that Joe Biden should not seek re-election in 2024 due to his advanced age and the lack of popularity of his running mate, Kamala Harris.
The Democratic Party is aware that a replacement for Biden may be necessary in order to remain competitive in the upcoming election.
“Biden would carry two big liabilities into a 2024 campaign. He would be 82 when he began a second term. According to a recent Associated Press-NORC poll, 77 percent of the public, including 69 percent of Democrats, think he’s too old to be effective for four more years. Biden’s age isn’t just a Fox News trope; it’s been the subject of dinner-table conversations across America this summer,” Ignatius wrote.
“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough agreed with Ignatius and said every single Democrat privately tells him Biden is too old.
“Everybody, we talk to, every political discussion, all it talks a lot about Trump, but when it comes to Joe Biden, people say, ‘Man, he’s too old to run. He’s, and I mean, he’s not going to; he’s not really going to run.’”
“When I say every discussion, I don’t mean 99% of the discussions. Every discussion,” Scarborough added.

That direction is NOT a Biden direction. It is a Democrat Party direction. Replacing Biden with another Democrat does nothing to change the direction of this country.

The absolute truth is that Joe Biden is and was a poor choice to be president. His advanced age and lack of private business experience shows in every decision he makes. This is a man that has never worked outside the government, served in the military (that’s not unusual in today’s politics). He lacks connection with the general population, he’s never made a payroll, All his decisions are poll based and he is influenced by elites and the vocal, woke and I mean small clicks of voters. He panders to college kids that are indoctrinated in the class rooms of Ivy League colleges, he makes big promises he can’t keep because he forgets that the House holds the purse strings and the American people will not stand for these give a ways. He is a divider, he pits Americans against each other, he allows open borders, he basically shut down oil drilling and a major pipeline, just because he could. He stopped the building of the border wall, again why, because he could and he was determined that ANYTHING that President Trump had set into motion and was being successful at, he would end, costing millions of blue collar jobs, driving up food cost, gas and other energy cost, printing money like toilet paper, shutting down public schools at the advice of the teachers unions. Putting thousands of small businesses out of business, again throwing hundreds of thousands of Americans out of work.
Now is the time for him to be retired as it is for all the old, life long politicians in Washington. Many who have NEVER WORKED in the private sector. Many who ignore their oath of office for the sake of votes and personal power. These people do not have to live with the rules they make, they are for the most part, rich and truly care less about the people that elect them and Joe Biden has been one of them for over 50 years. Each election cycle they run to the “WAY” under served communities that vote for them in lock steep, and promise them the world, knowing that they are lying to them, free this and that, we are going to improve this and that and never delivering on those promises.
Look, Trump was brash and stern in tweets, have you been to New York? But he got things done, not to promote himself, but to life up Americans, all Americans and his record shows that, he did for all intent and purposes, make America a world leader again and bowed down to NO other country. He got it done with little help from either side of the aisle, Republicans and Democrats fought him tooth and nail, he was getting things done and that’s a problem for life long politicians. Their idea of getting things done is to promise everything and deliver almost nothing that benefits all Americans, they just want power, nothing more. Sadly Joe Biden has shown what the democratic party is all about and he has put them on full display, along with the MSM that was basically an arm of the party that has just now realized they went to far and have exposed themselves to the American public as frauds when it comes to facts, It simply bite them and now they have no choice but to attempt to be sort of truthful.
Joe has, with the help of the democratic party and many of the republican party, bankrupted our country, destroyed the middle class and are hell bent on destroying the United States of America. So says us all!
