One of the victims was in “possible cardiac arrest” when he was taken aboard an ambulance, according to Macri.

Video circulating on social media appears to show one of the helicopters spinning as it falls following the collision. Witness footage captured the aircraft in an uncontrolled rotation before it disappeared from view, a sight that many onlookers described as shocking and immediate. First responders reported seeing smoke and debris across a wide area where the wreckage landed.

Another video posted online appears to show a helicopter spinning out of control before crashing down out of sight, per 6ABC Action News, which also confirmed one person died.

Dan Dameshek, 34, told NBC News he was leaving a nearby gym when he heard a “loud snap” and broke out his phone to start filming.

“Turned around and saw one helicopter go from right side up to upside down and dive into the ground,” Dameshek told the outlet. “For a second it looked like the other helicopter was OK, then I heard another smack like metal slapping metal and it started spinning out of control and that’s what you see on the video.”

Additional video shows smoke billowing from the crash site and emergency crews working through the wreckage. Firefighters and medical teams coordinated air and ground transport to get victims to trauma care as quickly as possible. The scene remained under tight control while investigators and local authorities documented evidence and cleared hazards.
