The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic has released newly uncovered evidence that suggests Dr. Anthony Fauci was actively involved in the creation of a paper published in February 2020 entitled “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2”. According to emails from one of the authors, Dr. Kristian Andersen of Scripps Research, Fauci “prompted” the group to write this paper with the intention of attempting to disprove any theories surrounding a laboratory origin for COVID-19.

Furthermore, emails between Fauci, then-NIH Director Francis Collins, and other authors indicate that they were heavily involved in early debates about the origins of the pandemic and that drafts of Proximal Origin were sent to both Fauci and Collins. While Fauci is not listed as an author on this paper, it has become one of the most influential papers regarding coronavirus origins due to its claims that the virus came from nature rather than a lab leak. This is evidenced by Fauci’s own citation of Proximal Origin from the White House podium months after it was published.

Despite initial openness from researchers like Andersen towards alternate theories surrounding COVID origins, their views quickly shifted following this call with Fauci and other scientists on February 1st, just three days before Proximal Origin was drafted. This rapid shift has been noted by critics who have suggested that one or more members of this group may have had some outside influence in shaping their research outcomes in accordance with certain scientific agendas.

Once again, this is something that we’ve basically known all along and it was dispelled as propaganda by the Democrats and Dr. Fauci because he knew that this would ultimately be linked back to him. I can’t wait for the day that it’s proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had a role to play in all of the deaths that have taken place and hopefully we can lock him up.
