The National Archives is rightfully entrusted with preserving aspects of presidential history in the United States. It’s a thankless job, but somebody has to do it, right? There’s also a sentimental side for every U.S. President upon departing the White House.
That goes for sitting presidents, who probably shouldn’t have been cheated out of a subsequent second term. That’s what happened to President Donald Trump. But all the same, President Trump packed up a few mementos and gifts, and then headed south to Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
Well, evidently the National Archives folks had an issue with what they “thought” were in a few of the boxes that President Trump had trucked down to his residence in the Sunshine State. These accusations of Presidential Records Act violations are not uncommon.
Every recent presidential administration has dealt with one type of minor violation or the other. However, when the corrupt mainstream media got wind of this particular records inquiry, they lost their collective minds.
That’s pretty typical. Anything that has to do with President Donald Trump triggers a mainstream media frenzy. These poor souls are actually quite pitiful. As soon as they heard about the issue, the left-driven clowns in the fake news went berserk.
If it weren’t so sad, the end result would actually be rather funny. The Trump-crazed mainstream media had narratives about potential criminal charges, federal investigations, you name it. One of the guiltiest members of the media is Jeff Bezos’ crooked Washington Post.
In typical liberal loony tunes fashion, the newspaper ran with some cockamamie story about how President Trump secretly took sensitive government documents and classified paperwork. The article was actually compelling, if it weren’t a bald-faced lie.
Packed inside these boxes, which the National Archives felt motivated to seize as part of a raid, were a bunch of meaningless tidbits. There was nothing but memos, personal notes, letters from other foreign leaders, including some gifts and a handful of written communications.
To hear the Washington Post tell the story, we’d have thought there would have been something of the equivalent of the “Pentagon Papers” stashed inside Mar-a-Lago. Again, if it weren’t so sad, it would be funny. All a conservative needs to do is throw these radicals a little bait.
They seize upon every chance to paint President Trump and all his supporters as right-wing nuts. We’re not. Like President Trump, most are patriotic Americans who just want to “Save America” from the crazy radical left. However, it’s still funny when the liberal fools “take the bait”.
