The war of words between Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and President Joe Biden reignited on Friday.
Dementia Joe may have thought he was scathing when he asked, “Governor Who?” of DeSantis, but he left himself open to an attack by the Republican. Governor DeSantis was quick to fire back at the President and ask, “What else has he forgotten?”
The Florida Governor made short work of Biden’s attack, which included his questioning of DeSantis’ record on COVID-19 rates. Biden fired a tirade at the Florida Governor before asking him to get out of the way of parents making decisions about their children’s use of face coverings and vaccines.
Showing a clear understanding of the Constitution, Governor DeSantis explained the President had forgotten about the right of Americans to choose for themselves.
“Biden’s forgotten about the crisis at our southern border; I can tell you that. Biden has forgotten about the inflation that’s biting the budgets of families all throughout our country. Biden has forgotten about the demonstrators who are fighting for freedom down in Cuba. Biden has even forgotten about the Constitution itself, as we saw with what he did with this (eviction) moratorium.”
“And I can just tell you, I’m the Governor Who protects parents and their ability to make the right choices for their kids’ education. I’m the Governor Who protects the jobs and education and businesses in Florida by not letting the federal government lock us down. I’m the Governor Who answers to the people of Florida, not to bureaucrats in Washington.”
Governor DeSantis showed why he is in the running for the Presidency in 2028 as Kamala Harris continues to tank in the polls with his response. DeSantis accused Dementia Joe of forgetting about the people of Cuba fighting for their freedom and the legality of his orders about the eviction moratorium.
DeSantis fired back at Biden using one of President Trump’s favorite subjects, the crisis on the Southern Border the Democrats continue to ignore.
