Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her intention to propose legislation targeting two key issues. The first is the abolition of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which she views as a vehicle for globalist intervention and radical left agendas. The second proposal aims to establish English as the official language of the United States, a move she believes will streamline communication and national unity.

Greene’s criticism of USAID is not without precedent. Echoing sentiments from former Congressman Ron Paul, she highlights the agency’s role in supporting non-governmental organizations that undermine elected governments. According to Paul, USAID’s involvement in foreign conflicts, including the situation in Ukraine, illustrates its overreach.

USAID’s spending has come under scrutiny, with allegations of funding controversial projects. These include gain-of-function research in China and cultural initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion abroad. Critics argue that such expenditures are a misuse of taxpayer money.

President Trump’s recent actions against USAID have intensified the debate. By effectively shutting down the agency and placing most Washington-based staff on leave, Trump has made a bold statement against what he perceives as bureaucratic waste. This move marks a significant shift in how the agency operates.

The decision to target USAID aligns with a broader effort to reduce government size and influence. Greene’s legislative proposal is seen as a natural extension of these efforts. By seeking to redirect funds and focus on American interests, she aims to prioritize domestic concerns over international intervention.

Greene’s call for English as the national language is another cornerstone of her legislative agenda. In her view, establishing a common language is crucial for national cohesion. This measure is seen as a way to strengthen the American identity and simplify governmental processes.

The proposed legislation reflects a broader ideological stance. Greene and her supporters advocate for policies that emphasize national sovereignty and minimal government interference. These principles resonate with those who admire figures like Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater.

The debate over USAID and national language is likely to provoke strong reactions. Proponents argue that these measures are necessary steps toward restoring American values. Critics, however, may see them as isolationist or overly simplistic.

As the legislative process unfolds, Greene’s proposals will undoubtedly attract attention. Supporters are hopeful that the bills will gain traction in Congress. The Gateway Pundit and other media outlets will be closely monitoring developments.

Greene has made it clear that she welcomes cosponsors for her bills. Her call to action underscores her commitment to these causes. By rallying like-minded legislators, she aims to build momentum for her initiatives.

The controversy surrounding USAID is not new, but Greene’s proposals add a fresh dimension. By linking the agency’s activities to broader political themes, she seeks to galvanize public support. Her approach reflects a strategic effort to reshape the narrative around foreign aid.

Greene’s advocacy for English as the official language taps into a longstanding debate. The issue speaks to broader concerns about cultural identity and integration. By framing it as a unifying measure, Greene hopes to appeal to a wide audience.

Her legislative push is part of a larger trend within the Republican Party. Many conservatives are calling for a reevaluation of international commitments. By focusing on domestic priorities, they aim to recalibrate America’s role on the global stage.

The outcome of Greene’s initiatives remains uncertain. Legislative battles are often unpredictable, with many variables at play. However, her efforts signal a clear intent to reshape policy discussions in Washington.

As the conversation continues, public opinion will play a crucial role. Greene’s proposals are likely to be a litmus test for broader political sentiments. The response from constituents and policymakers will be telling.

In the weeks and months ahead, the debate over these issues will likely intensify. Greene’s proposals have the potential to spark significant policy shifts. Observers will be watching closely to see how these ideas are received.

Ultimately, the fate of Greene’s legislative efforts will depend on a variety of factors. Congressional dynamics, public opinion, and political alliances will all influence the outcome. The stakes are high, and the implications are far-reaching.

  • “Designate English as Official U.S. Language,” this should be unequivocally the language of the American Citizenry as it’s been throughout the 20th Century and on into the present 21st Century!

What the Globalist controlled elitist cult had done through or via the Marxist Biden/Harris cabal recently is to now have American bank ATM’s menu now having instead of what they had been for decades only offered in English, to where now upwards of a dozen different languages are offered in the selection menu! When I first noticed this change I thought what the heck is going on, am I still in America!

If foreigners were applying through proper immigration procedure to become American Citizens then it stands to reason that as in years gone by when some previous generations of our family ancestors emigrated here had done, that learning to speak English and wanting to assimilate into the American Culture was and should be a given. And it stands to reason that newcomers would or should be inspired to truly learn our ways and become genuine American Citizens!

But it’s all upside-down and they’ve allowed people from all over the planet to come here “Illegally and with an Attitude” that they won’t and don’t want to assimilate or become one of the Patriotic Americas, but rather that they can bring their foreign language and culture here and make America what they think it should be! Like just turn it into that place they wanted to leave as much as possible, made to be like some duplication, and we Americas should just change for them!

I don’t want such people coming to my country and trying to do the opposite of assimilate, respect and appreciate America for what it truly is, and basically instead tell us they will make America whatever they want it to be, they don’t have to adapt to us we have to adapt to them; that is what invaders or conquerors did throughout history! I would never think of doing that to some foreign land and its native citizens if I moved to it. So, why then should this loose policy be allowed for them here in our America; that is an abuse of a nation and its Citizens!

    • Brother, I just found out that the Rino Lindsey Graham has currently been on the Board of USAIDE, and he’s been making millions of dollars.

He’s been against Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, among other President Trump’s pic’s, now he’s turned completely around and sides with President Trump’s pic’s.

I stated in other comments before that Lindsey Graham is a Communist Rino and he’s also gay.

Pam Bondi, is looking into working with Elon Musk on the money that USAIDE been sending billions of taxpayers money to other countries and who’s been receiving money within Washington politicians.

      Heads will be rolling soon.!
She’s also looking into Criminal activities on the New York Judge, Attorney General and Jack Smith Involvement on President Trump’s prosecution.

I love it, and hopping they will be indicted and sent to GITMO.

  • I totally agree! This is America and we speak English. When I go to another country I do not expect them to speak English. But that is the game isn’t it by the parasites. As far as getting rid of USAID then I 100% agree! This has ALWAYS been a slush fund for the criminals in our government.

Boy would the everyday person like a fund they could draw from anytime they wanted for anything the wanted. Well people wake up, that is exactly what they have been doing for a very long time.

Please understand that all illegals 83% of them are on welfare and the US taxpayer is footing the bill. How does it feel?

    • Kathy absolutely all true! Isn’t it really “the rich (most crooked in our government) get richer and the poor get poorer (that’s us the citizens)” being raked over the coals!

I had stated the following just the other day on this site that keeps being reinforced practically every day when I read some news articles or when I’m out in public and observing!

      >I went to my local bank to deposit a check and waited in line while one Hispanic woman with two men walked up to the teller and then the line stopped for nearly 15 minutes at which time I had enough and left, and while they had some debit thing going on which was obvious to me and others in line that they were illegals cashing in on some debit card with some glitch, obviously none of them working which was easy to ascertain from the time of day and the time of month when welfare funds or checks are out and their body language with shifty eye contact! All young able bodied persons, but to me having “the attitude and behavior of entitled parasites.” Usually one person goes up with one transaction at a time. not as a group of them, but these jerks were doing some multiple persons activity and transactions at once, the teller had to walk away to see her manager for a bit too, he also a new Hispanic working there in the bank!

Even without hard evidence it’s easy to see how these people are taking advantage of our fouled-up CRT, DEI, WOKE system. These people have no respect or even good in them to offer America, but, they get to walk all over our nation like they own it and step on us, the actual Americans who’ve been footing the bills or paying taxes all of our lives!

These creeps all need to get out of America now!

  • Michael; unreal, what a news flash! I actually didn’t know Graham is a Board member of USAID, so now on top of all his other egregious underhanded double-cross actions and hidden crimes that I was aware of during President Trump’s first term in office! But we can even add this additional “puppeteer work” he does in this agency along with what you pointed out, that “Graham is a Communist Rino and he’s also gay!” The Commie part I figured with how he went along with scums like McConnell, Pelosi, Schiff and Schumer while his being gay is news to me, but hardly surprising to be blunt!

In a manner of speaking, it should be easy to “mop the floor” with him and many other cohorts of the same ilk in the Demoncrap party and the many Rino’s that are all “way overdue for justice to be served upon them!”

Both Bragg and Big Mouth arrogant James in the NYC judiciary along with so called special council prosecutor Smith with all of his weaponized prosecution as he obviously served the whims of the Washington Deep State and DOJ AG Garland; they’re all going to pay the price for being evil and criminal! I also can’t wait to see that day, and I as an American will be so grateful that “such corrupted public officials will be held to account” and thereby “Make America Great Again” with “Rule of Law” being applied to all equally!

GITMO for all these traitors is totally in order!

  • If — and I know that they are– looking to cut costs in our government, then making English our official language should result in huge savings. SimpliGov (03/05/2024) states that “In practice, the cost and technical complexity of translating form content into just a few languages can be extremely high”. They give a practical mathematical example on their website which involves translating 200 English forms into 4 languages that would take about 40 weeks to accomplish. They also admit that even a simple example like this can snowball to over one million dollars depending on progress and delays. The potential time and cost to translate forms into 100 languages would be “staggering”. To make it worse, the Census Bureau estimates that that over 350 languages are spoken in the U.S. I rest my case!

  • Scott E High; excellent point and like a stake driven through a vampires heart! All this waste is running this nation into the ground while the upper echelon of fat cats is ripping us all off getting richer by the minute!

America should absolutely be “one official language” and that is “English,” so “everyone here Illegally get out,” and those here legally, “Love It or Leave It!”

Tired of the ingrates trying to get America to bend over backwards for everything and everyone with a gripe; and then sticking it up the kazoo every chance they get!

  • MTG, Thank you for preparing to shutdown what is being used to throw away tax payer dollars and finally declaring English as the national language.

  • Hi Marjorie,
In the early 1900’s English was declared our official language. When my Dad started school in 1906 he had to learn English. No other language was permitted. Maybe that was only for schools? It might be interesting to see if that “proclamation” applied and was a declaration equivalent to your declaration. I’m glad you are asserting this.

    • Helen Sustachek; great point and personal family story which really should be considered and looked into to better understand the real facts about this English situation! I’m going to research this more because of your fine insight and inspiration! Thank you very much!
      God bless you and yours!
