Amazon has scheduled its fall shopping event, Prime Big Deal Days, for Tuesday, Oct. 6 through Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026. The two-day sale follows the company’s July Prime Day event and is timed to drive discounts ahead of the holiday shopping season.

Access to the deepest discounts requires an active Amazon Prime membership. Shoppers who have not previously subscribed can sign up for a 30-day free trial, which also includes access to Amazon Prime Video and other membership perks.

In previous years, large retailers including Target, Best Buy and Walmart have run competing sales during the same window, giving consumers options beyond Amazon’s own marketplace. Amazon’s in-house electronics — Echo speakers, Fire tablets and Kindle e-readers among them — have historically carried some of the steepest markdowns during the company’s sale events.

Amazon’s site already features rotating discounts in the weeks leading up to the official event, though the company’s biggest price cuts are typically reserved for the two designated sale days.
