Kuldeep Singh, father of 5-year-old Fabiana Cabello, says he cannot cover the costs of burying his daughter and has turned to an online fundraiser for help. Fabiana was found battered to death on Wednesday in the family’s South Richmond Hill home in Queens.

“The funeral home and cemetery are asking for a deposit, and I do not have the money for it,” Singh wrote on a GoFundMe page he started two days after his daughter’s death. “I am asking for help with her funeral and cemetery costs.”

“I loved my daughter very much, and losing her feels like I lost my whole world.”

Singh, who works as an Uber driver using a rental car, said continuing to work while grieving has been overwhelming. “I am trying to keep working as an Uber driver while driving a rental car, but I am grieving and struggling to manage these costs at the same time,” he wrote.

Fabiana’s mother, Francis Cabello, 32, was charged with murder on Thursday after telling a 911 operator, “I killed my daughter,” according to police and sources. The girl was discovered unconscious and unresponsive, with blood on her nose and mouth, inside the family’s home on 110th Street near 95th Avenue just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Fabiana’s grandfather, Franklin Cabello, described the family’s anguish to reporters: “As a family, we feel mentally and physically destroyed. We can’t think [clearly] but we put our confidence in God.”

Relatives say Francis Cabello had struggled with psychological issues. At her arraignment Friday, prosecutors said she may have strangled her daughter. A preliminary autopsy found Fabiana “sustained scrapes to her face, as well as petechiae to her eyes, heart and lungs, findings which can be found in cases of asphyxia,” though her official cause of death remains pending further study. Francis Cabello was taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after her daughter was found.

Singh says he hopes to give his daughter “a proper funeral and cemetery service.” In his fundraiser post, he wrote, “Any donation, no matter the amount, would help ease this burden and support me during one of the hardest moments of my life.” He added, “If you are able to help, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Thank you for supporting my daughter and helping me honor her memory.”
