Opinion| The last 24-hours have seen President Trump finally give up on trying to deal with the growing threats from the communist Chinese.
After decades of China ravaging our manufacturing sector and abusing NAFTA’s backdoor to our markets, Donald Trump announced he was running for president to stop the insanity.
Trump gave the Chinese every opportunity to continue accessing our markets under conditions that they play nice. They haven’t.
The Communist Chinese Party’s response – or lack of response – seemingly allowed for a global pandemic to take hold. Whether this was on purpose or not matters little.
China’s failure to show remorse, their subsequent propaganda, and their aggressive stance, their vacuuming up all available PPE, made President Trump’s decision inevitable.
This was the moment Americans elected Donald Trump for. Trump’s response over the past day suggests American voters chose wisely…
Wednesday, during an interview with Maria Bartiromo, President Trump made his unhappiness with China very clear.
When asked about the Chairman of the CCP, dictator for life Xi Jinping, Trump was succinct in his disgust… “I don’t want to speak to him.”
Translation: The time for talking is over.
The dominoes immediately began falling…

(The Conservative Treehouse) According to numerous media reports Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) is likely to announce this week they will build an advanced chip manufacturing facility in Arizona. A manufacturing facility for advanced 5 nanometer chip manufacturing is a steep investment decision costing around $10 billion.
This shift in a high-tech supply chain will align with President Trump’s prior discussions with Tim Cook the CEO of Apple which led to a decision to invest in Texas. TSMC is a chip supplier for Apple products; and Apple is moving to the 5nm processors in new devices. It looks like the movement of advanced industrial products away from China is underway.
During an interview with Maria Bartiromo earlier this morning, U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross announced that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) would be building an advanced chip factory in Arizona.
This move also cements our relationship with China’s arch enemy, Taiwan.
But, it’s what Secretary Ross told Bartiromo next signalled Trump has gone all in on putting an end to China’s attempt to gain world domination…
New moves by the Commerce Department strategically curtailed Huawei’s ability to acquire semiconductors. Huawei is the key to China’s Belt and Road initiative… it’s path to world domination.
While all this was unfolding CNBC announced that the administration was undertaking a wide-ranging supply chain analysis in preparation for an executive order that would require products in a variety of sectors seen as national security issues, including drugs, medical supplies, semiconductors and defense equipment to be produced in the United States.
The executive order Navarro is planning will streamline regulatory approvals for “American-made” products and look to impose similar FDA restrictions on U.S. facilities as those abroad. It will also encourage the U.S. government, including the Department of Defense, Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Veterans Affairs, to only buy American-made medical products.
It looks like China f**ked with the wrong guy.
