The U.S. Department of State has expanded its list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations, aiming to combat the growing influence of violent criminal groups. This move targets six notorious Mexican drug cartels, the Salvadoran Mara Salvatrucha, and the Venezuelan Tren De Aragua gang. The decision reflects a firm stance against cross-border crime that threatens American safety and sovereignty.

Confirming a report by Breitbart Texas, the State Department’s announcement underscores the gravity of these organizations’ illicit activities. The inclusion of these groups highlights their role in drug trafficking, human smuggling, and violent crimes. Their operations extend beyond their home countries, posing significant risks to communities across the U.S.

Interestingly, the New York Times mistakenly included a Colombian cartel in its report, which was not part of the official designation. This error has sparked discussions about the accuracy and reliability of media coverage on such critical issues. Accurate reporting is crucial, especially when addressing matters of national security.

On February 19, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio took decisive action by filing Public Notice 12672 on the Federal Register. This formal step ensures that the designated organizations are recognized as Foreign Terrorist Organizations. Such a designation allows for enhanced measures to disrupt their operations and financial networks.

The recent designation aligns with conservative calls for stronger border security and tougher immigration policies. Many conservative outlets, such as Fox News and Newsmax, have long advocated for identifying and dismantling these dangerous groups. These organizations have been linked to a surge in crime rates and drug-related deaths.

The Mexican drug cartels, in particular, have been a focal point of U.S. foreign policy in recent years. Their involvement in the opioid crisis has caused widespread devastation across American communities. Efforts to combat their influence are seen as a necessary step in protecting the nation’s health and security.

The Salvadoran Mara Salvatrucha, commonly known as MS-13, has been a notorious presence in the United States. This gang is infamous for its brutal tactics and has been involved in numerous violent crimes. Its designation as an FTO is a long-awaited measure to curb its activities.

Similarly, the Venezuelan Tren De Aragua gang has gained notoriety for its involvement in various criminal enterprises. This group has expanded its reach beyond Venezuela, impacting regions throughout the Americas. Their designation underscores the international nature of modern criminal networks.

The move to designate these groups as FTOs is part of a broader strategy to combat international terrorism and organized crime. By cutting off their resources and restricting their movements, the U.S. aims to diminish their power. This approach aligns with conservative values of law and order.

Critics may argue about the potential diplomatic repercussions of such designations. However, proponents believe that the benefits of protecting American citizens outweigh any potential fallout. Ensuring national security remains a top priority for the current administration.

The battle against these organizations requires cooperation with international partners. Strong alliances are crucial in tackling the complex web of criminal activities that span multiple countries. Collaborative efforts can lead to more effective strategies in dismantling these networks.

The designation also serves as a warning to other criminal groups operating within the United States. It signals a zero-tolerance policy for those who threaten the country’s safety. The administration’s commitment to combating these threats is unwavering.

The effectiveness of these designations will depend on their implementation and enforcement. Law enforcement agencies must be equipped with the necessary tools and resources to act on these measures. Continued support from the government is essential in ensuring success.

The public’s role in supporting these efforts cannot be understated. Awareness and cooperation from communities can aid in identifying and reporting suspicious activities. Grassroots involvement is a powerful tool in the fight against organized crime.

The impact of these designations will be closely monitored in the coming months. As the government works to dismantle these organizations, the public will be watching for tangible results. Success in this area could lead to a safer and more secure nation.

While challenges remain, the administration’s actions represent a step in the right direction. The emphasis on national security and public safety resonates with many Americans. The fight against these destructive forces continues with renewed vigor.

The designation of these groups as Foreign Terrorist Organizations is a decisive move in protecting the nation’s borders and citizens. It reflects a commitment to addressing the root causes of crime and violence. The road ahead may be challenging, but the resolve to overcome these threats is strong.

The focus now shifts to the implementation of these designations and the pursuit of justice. With the backing of the government and the American people, there is hope for significant progress. The fight against these criminal enterprises is far from over, but the determination to succeed remains steadfast.

  • Those violent gangs should be executed immediately in the streets.
It’s come down to Kill or be Killed, it’s just as simple as that.

Being hacked to death is got to be one of the most Evil forms of dieing as the MS13 gangs are famous for.

Meanwhile Communist Democrats in Washington DC and the Communist Judges, DA’S and Mayor’s in the Blue States actually protect them and turn them lose back onto the streets. The ones who allow them to walk free should be accountable for the terrorist actions and should be prosecuted and sentenced to life in GITMO or Executed.

  • Michael, I totally agree! When the hell are most citizens going to wake up and realize we are at WAR! A slowly but surely incremental war on multiple fronts by multiple actors some of them from all kinds of hellhole countries including Communist China and then many enemies within operating right in the government to escalate the destruction of society and the American Constitutional Republic Government of the People (Citizens)! I know you have such a clear perspective of what is going down and from the Biblical perspective so well! So I love repeating whenever I can the following Scripture because it is the bottom-line and must be realized by hopefully more Citizens than not!

Ephesians 6:11-13 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.”

God bless and awaken His children!

    • Yes brother, that’s what I’m referring too. The armor is what I have put on before and I will put it on again.
Stand your ground in God’s will and Grace.
      Or do nothing and die.

      • Yes that is the proper and perfect perspective; God bless Michael!

Romans 8:30-32 “And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified. 31What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?”
        Amen and Amen.

  • …with apologies to Ron White, the comedian, where I heard it.

“Drive the Drug Cartels, Narco Mexico and the Central American Narco States across the Panama Canal and the border crisis becomes very manageable.”
