A federal grand jury in Wichita, Kansas, has indicted a U.S. Postal Service worker on charges that she stole thousands of pieces of mail, including nearly 400 political mailers for Republican candidates and GOP-affiliated committees.

Kelly R. Cram, 59, is accused of stealing approximately 4,404 pieces of mail intended for delivery to customers in and around Pittsburg, Kansas, beginning in October 2026, according to a statement from the Department of Justice.

Investigators said the stolen mail was found at Cram’s residence, including nearly 400 political mailers.

“Among the mail items she allegedly stole and placed in her garage were nearly 400 political mailers solely related to Republican candidates or Republican Party-affiliated political action committees,” the DOJ said.

The Justice Department further said investigators did not recover any campaign mail connected to candidates from other political parties at Cram’s home.

“Agents found no mailers related to candidates of any other political party at Cram’s residence,” the DOJ noted.

Cram has been indicted but has not been convicted. The case originated in the Wichita area of Sedgwick County, Kansas, and involves mail service in Pittsburg. No additional details about Cram’s employment status, court dates, or potential penalties were included in the DOJ’s statement.
