Gisele Bündchen made a surprise return to the Victoria’s Secret runway world this week, not by walking the show but through a pre-taped video appearance that aired during the brand’s 2026 Fashion Show in Los Angeles.
The clip played before Bella Hadid opened the runway. In it, Bündchen, dressed in a pink lace bra and panties under the brand’s signature pink-and-white striped silk robe, asked viewers, “Are you ready for the show?”
She reappeared in a second video at the close of the broadcast, this time eating popcorn and hinting at future work with the brand. “Wasn’t that amazing? You’re gonna be seeing more of me real soon,” she said, finishing with a wink to the camera.
Bündchen’s history with Victoria’s Secret dates back to 1999, when she first modeled for the label. A year later she signed a $25 million contract with the company, then a record sum, and went on to walk its runways for six consecutive years. In 2000 she wore the brand’s “Red Hot Fantasy Bra,” valued at $15 million at the time — a record that stood until this year’s show, when Kylie Jenner wore a $50 million diamond-encrusted Fantasy Bra designed by Jacob & Co.
Bündchen has not walked an actual Victoria’s Secret runway show in 20 years, though she appeared in a 2023 print campaign alongside Naomi Campbell and Adriana Lima. In January 2026, Hailey Bieber recreated one of Bündchen’s best-known campaign looks, a move some took as a hint that the Brazilian model might be returning to the brand’s orbit.
The video cameo came one day after Bündchen was photographed leaving the Delano Hotel in Miami Beach on crutches, wearing a large black medical boot on one ankle. Her on-camera tease suggests another Victoria’s Secret campaign could be in the works once she has recovered.
