Fox News Digital led every major news brand and broadcast network in audience traffic during the third quarter of 2026, according to data from Comscore, extending a streak of dominance that now spans more than four years in some metrics.

The outlet recorded 4.6 billion multiplatform views for the quarter, well ahead of The New York Times at 3.8 billion and CNN at 1.3 billion. CBS News, NBC News and ABC News each came in under one billion views, the threshold Comscore treats as a key benchmark for the category.

Fox News Digital also led in multiplatform minutes, posting 10 billion against the Times’ 3.1 billion for second place. The quarter marked the 17th consecutive period Fox News has topped the views category and the 22nd straight quarter it has led in minutes among news brands.

The site also drew 170 million average total digital multiplatform unique visitors, an 11% increase from the same quarter last year, and 76 million average desktop/mobile unique visitors, the highest of any news brand measured.

A Rough Quarter for CNN

By contrast, CNN posted its weakest quarter since 2015 across average total digital unique visitors, multiplatform views and multiplatform minutes. The gap extended to mobile apps as well: the Fox News Mobile app averaged 6.5 million unique viewers for the quarter, more than double the CNN app’s 2.7 million.

YouTube and Social Media

Fox News Media also finished as the No. 1 news brand on YouTube for the eighth consecutive quarter, according to measurement firm Emplifi. Fox News itself logged 918 million video views on the platform, narrowly ahead of MS NOW’s 889 million. CNN followed with 712 million, ABC with 442 million, NBC News with 356 million and CBS News with 149 million.

Fox Business’ YouTube channel brought in 140 million video views, putting it atop the business-news category for the 27th consecutive quarter, per Comscore Social. Combined across its platforms, Fox News Media generated 1.2 billion YouTube video views for the quarter.

On social media, Fox News Media again led all news brands in total interactions, per Emplifi and Comscore Social data, with 290 million interactions overall — 90.7 million on Facebook, 55.9 million on Instagram and 14.7 million on X.

Comscore noted that measurement methods differ slightly across outlets: Fox News Digital, CBSNews.com, NBCNews.com, WashingtonPost.com and ABCNews.com have all opted to include social-driven traffic in their reported total digital multiplatform unique visitor counts, while CNN.com and NYTimes.com have not.
