On Monday evening, a viral video featuring ex-President Donald Trump circulated rapidly across the internet and various social media platforms.

The footage captured Trump descending a flight of stairs, then approaching a camera to address an assembly of reporters. This occurred as votes were being counted after Iowa’s inaugural GOP primary.

“Great night and fantastic place,” Trump said about Iowa. “We’ve won it twice, as you know, the last two elections, and I think we’re gonna have a fantastic night tonight.

“The people are fantastic, and I’ve never seen spirit like they have — countrywide, but in Iowa, I’ve never seen spirit like this, thank you,” Trump said, turning away from the camera as reporters shouted questions at him.

In the Iowa caucus, Trump emerged as the victor with a commanding 51% of the vote, surpassing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who secured approximately 21.2%, and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley who garnered 19.1%.

“I really think this is time now for everybody to come together, whether it is Republican or Democrat or liberal or conservative. It would be so nice if we could come together and straighten out the world and straighten out the problems and all of the death and destruction that we’re witnessing that has practically never been seen,” he said. “I want to make that a big part of our message. We’re going to come together.

“I want to congratulate Ron and Nikki for having a good time together,” Trump told supporters. “They had a good time together, and I think they both actually did very well. We don’t even know what the outcome of second place is.”

“I also want to congratulate Vivek because he did a hell of a job. He came from zero, and he’s got a big percent, probably almost eight percent, and that is an amazing job,” Trump said. “Very smart people, very capable people.”

The DeSantis campaign strongly criticized the media on Monday night for their premature predictions that former President Donald Trump would win the Iowa caucus right after the polls closed.

The campaign accused the outlets of “election interference” for hastily declaring Trump as the winner, even though he received 51 percent of the vote compared to DeSantis’ 21.2 percent and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley’s 19.1 percent, as reported by The Associated Press.

“Absolutely outrageous that the media would participate in election interference by calling the race before tens of thousands of Iowans even had a chance to vote. The media is in the tank for Trump and this is the most egregious example yet,” DeSantis campaign spokesperson Andrew Romeo said on X.

The AP called the race around 8:31 p.m. EDT. “Outlets such as CNN, MSNBC and Fox News made the same projection around the same time. Decision Desk HQ also called the race for Trump just before 9 p.m. Eastern,” The Hill noted.

The outlet added:

The caucus meetings kicked off at 8 p.m. Eastern, expected to vary in length across locations in the state, with some results available in as little as half an hour and others not anticipated until later this evening, according to The Des Moines Register.

When the projections put Trump as the winner, the second-place winner was still up in the air — with Haley and DeSantis neck-and-neck for runner-up.

Heading into Monday’s closely watched contest, observers widely expected Trump to win the Hawkeye State — but DeSantis has been investing heavily in the state. He’s completed a tour of all 99 Iowa counties and secured the endorsement of Iowa Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds.

“The very very early results show Trump winning big, but the early network call is a little questionable. People are still at caucus sites, and they have phones – how many people see the call and bail?” Semafor reporter David Weigel said on X.

  • I just would like to see this nation return to it old paths of what it once was! I am ashamed of what this nation has become in the last 65 years. Since 1962-3 things have taken a remarkable and decided change of destruction! The U.S.A., (along w/the world) has forgotten GOD, and that results in nation and world destruction!

    • Exactly Homer, I also miss those days children played outside and rode bikes, baseball and football we had fun.
School was never like today, mom took care of us while dad worked, while kids today are always texting and whining about everything.
family would get together on Christmas and Thanksgiving, now today Christian’s are under attack.
Yes America and the rest of the world are being destroyed.
we need President Trump back in Office, Vote Trump for 2024. it’ll take a very long time to get America back on track after the Communist Democrats and Rinos practically ruined the Constitution and peoples lively hood.

    • You are right….. and I blame the whole hippy movement, it started it all, in the early 60s. Now those people or their kids are running the country and have it all @#$%&! up, because of the way they raised the flower children and their — it’s all about ME attitude.

  • How many times has this been done to Trump and worse. I always found it curious that during presidential elections, especially 2020, Arizona took weeks to count their votes and yet California had a winner in a few hours. Isn’t California a little bigger than Arizona.?

  • TRUMP WINS, AMERICA LOSES – as it would be with any of today’s biblically unqualified candidates, as it has been since the inception of the Constitutional Republic.

With each and every election America has only found herself further along on her suicidal trek to the precipice, regardless whether a Donkey or Elephant has been elected.

This thanks, in part, to Article 6’s Christian test ban whereby mandatory biblical qualifications were also eliminated. Once adopted, it was inevitable that America would be ruled by nothing but nincompoops, scoundrels, incompetents, immoral reprobates, and outright criminals. That should sound all too familiar?

Take nincompoops, for example. Exodus 18:21’s qualifications begin with the fear of Yahweh. Kings David and Solomon point out the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Thus, without the fear of Yahweh, you end up with, at best, nincompoops as your alleged leaders.

The best you can ever get from the Constitutional Republic’s unbiblical election system is the lessers of two evils. Sometimes, the worst of the worst. And always, the evil of two lessers.
