Trump’s Border Czar Vows Tough Action on Gangs and Illegal Immigration

President-elect Donald Trump’s newly appointed “border czar,” Tom Homan, has delivered a stern message to criminal gangs operating in the U.S. During an interview on Triggered, Donald Trump Jr.’s podcast, Homan warned notorious groups like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 that their days are numbered.

“My gang’s bigger than your gang, and we’re going to take you out,” said Homan, who previously led U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during Trump’s first term. Now, he is set to take on a more expansive role as Trump’s chief enforcer on border security.

Expressing his eagerness to return to public service, Homan outlined his aggressive strategy for tackling illegal immigration and gang activity. When asked by Trump Jr. about his immediate plans upon taking office, Homan’s response was direct:

“I’ve got three words for them: shock and awe. You’re going to see us take this country back.”

“They are going to put roadblocks up, I get it,” he said. “We’re going to be sued every day, I get it. But they aren’t going to stop us. If they don’t want to help, then get the hell out of our way because we are going to do the job.”
