Newly released video footage has revealed a disturbing incident that took place during a youth basketball game between Tumakbo United and Payton’s Place, both Bay Area teams.
The incident unfolded at the College of Alameda, leading to a police inquiry into the violent altercation.
The distressing event was captured on film during a game in which a 13-year-old player from Tumakbo United was viciously stomped on the head by a member of Payton’s Place.
The victim, who had fallen to the ground while competing for the ball, was left defenseless as the assault took place.
The victim’s mother, Eva Guingab, recounted the incident to ABC7, saying, “He was down on the floor, and this kid just came and just stomped on him and on his head. You could clearly see the size of his shoe on his face. My son suffered a concussion for the first time he played basketball.”
A photo taken after the game shows the victim with a red, shoe-shaped mark on the side of his head.
He is now in concussion protocol and experiencing headaches.
Tumakbo United coach Michael Tolentino expressed his shock, stating, “I think everyone was just in shock. I think we all kind of went on the court and went to the coach of the other team to say, ‘What just happened? What’s going on?’”
The Payton’s Place player’s family defended his actions, stating that he was protecting a teammate whom he believed was being physically attacked.
However, the video has caused significant backlash.
The offending player was immediately ejected from the gym. Payton’s Place issued a statement on Instagram, saying, “There is footage circulating of one of our team’s games this past weekend. Unfortunately, the footage is not a positive representation of our team and our values. The behavior that was exhibited by our player is not acceptable and is being taken seriously. We do not condone violence.”
The statement continued, “Our players are expected to conduct themselves with integrity on and off the court. At this time, both teams are working together to resolve this matter.”
The coaches of both teams have confirmed that race did not play a role in the incident.
The Guingab family has filed a report with the Alameda Police Department, prompting an investigation to be launched.
The Alameda County District Attorney will decide whether to press charges once the investigation is completed.
Eva Guingab emphasized the importance of accountability, stating, “If we don’t say anything right now, this kid will think it’s OK to do it because he’s young. He thinks that walking away from this situation is OK, and it’s not OK.”
Payton’s Place announced on Tuesday that the player involved in the incident has been removed from the team.
“The player involved is no longer playing for the Payton’s Place team. His behavior was unexpected. We are working to assist in providing him resources to prevent this in the future. Violence has never been a part of our team. On behalf of the Payton’s Place Family, we sincerely apologize to the player injured in this incident, his family, and all those impacted.”
ICYMI:
This concerns the young CA basketball player who “stomped” on the head of a downed opposing player. There are so
Many offensive acts committed by young adolescents and teens such as “Tik Tok challenges” from Ding Dong Ditch, breaking off car side view mirrors, torturing and killing baby ducks, destroying private property, etc, et al. Parents even defend or deny the acts by their children. It’s time for parents to corral their unruly uncontrolled behavior of their kids or they’ll end up in juvenile courts.
Or end up messing with the wrong person & get their ass blown off.
AFTER THAT HAPPENED THE OTHER TEAMS PLAYERS SHOULD HAVE THROWN IT TO THE AND STOMPED THAT NIGAS HEAD TILL THERE WAS NO MORE LEFT
While the nigar is screaming, “I didt do nuffin”, his proud parents in the stands are screaming at the ref for grabbing him. And liberal cowards enable these muthrfkrs, reward them. The asian kid that got stomped will be kicked out of school
Looks like one of those evil savage Scandinavians to me!
No, no! I’m pretty sure he is a Dutch man.
Could be Scotch/Irish.
IT WAS A NIGA
Jeez! Can we blame this on the kid growing up in a fatherless home?
No!
It took me no time to figure out what culture this was. I sure wish these DEI people would teach their kids some manners and sportsmanship. But, no, they probably be smokin’ dope.
The real problem here is that the attacker’s family justified his actions! This shows that you can take the savage out of the jungle & make him a member of a basketball team but you can never take the jungle out of the savage!
WHERE IS THE FAMILY’S COMMENT. LET’S HANG THEM ALL.
THAT NIGGERS HEAD SHOULD HAVE BEEN SMASHED TO SMITHEREENS BY THE OTHER TEAMS PLAYERS.
THAT NIGGERS HEAD SHOULD HAVE BEEN SMASHED TO SMITHEREENS BY THE OTHER TEAM
Why hasn’t he been arrested?! And will he be prosecuted, as would happen if he were white and the victim was black?!
Stomping on an opponent’s head during a sports event is clearly a learned behavior. Either this cretin did it before, and got away with it, or he watched someone else do it. It is not the sort of action that would spontaneously pop into an individual’s brain. Based on his mother’s last name, the victim was likely of Filipino origin. The attacker was definitely Black. That certainly suggests a racial motive for the attacker to jump on a person who was already down and unable to defend himself. Counselling this certin will only embolden him for his next assault. He needs a bare-back whipping in the worst way — one that leaves welts and scars to remind him never, never to resort to thuggery again.
Notice the “stomper” was a Negro and the “stompee” was White.
Nigar, who else would it be?
Again a black kid. Black people just have a proponderance for getting highly emotional and out of control.
It’s the intelligence problem
“Teen Stomps On The Head Of Opposing Basketball Player “, Teen? like what a White boy, Asian boy, Hispanic boy? No you coward fk, it was who they always are, a black low IQ thug
