In a surprising twist, renowned rapper Snoop Dogg has publicly shared his newfound appreciation and respect for former U.S. President Donald Trump, signaling a notable shift from his previous standpoint.
In an exclusive interview with The Times, published on Sunday, Snoop Dogg disclosed this change of heart despite having a history of discord with Trump, especially throughout his initial presidential term.
“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me,” the rapper said in a shocking revelation.
According to The Times, Snoop’s change of heart can be attributed partially to Trump’s choice of pardoning Michael ‘Harry-O’ Harris, who was a co-founder of Death Row Records – the label where Snoop began his career.
“So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg added, referencing this act of clemency.
In 2021, Snoop Dogg praised this decision, saying, “I love what they did… That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.”
In the past, Snoop Dogg gained a reputation for openly criticizing Trump’s policies and actions. One notable incident occurred in 2017 when he released a music video for his song “Lavender” featuring BADBADNOTGOOD.
The video sparked controversy as it depicted Snoop Dogg pointing a toy gun at a clown resembling Trump, who was smoking a joint. When Snoop pulled the trigger, a flag with the word “BANG” popped out.
This provocative imagery attracted widespread attention and drew criticism from Trump’s legal team and even Trump himself. The President suggested that Snoop Dogg should face arrest for his actions.
Furthermore, Snoop Dogg’s engagement in political discourse persisted as he released his song “Make America Crip Again” later that same year. This track alluded to Trump’s well-known campaign slogan “Make America Great Again.”
“Certain people feel like we should make America ‘great again,’ but that time they’re referring to always takes me back to separation and segregation, so I’d rather Make America Crip Again,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement.
“What I mean by that is, in my lifetime, that’s when young Black men in impoverished areas organized to help their communities and to take care of their own because society basically left them for dead.”
In 2019, Snoop Dogg released a video expressing his frustrations with President Trump during the partial shutdown over border wall funding. In the video, which contained strong language, Snoop Dogg urged federal government workers not to support Trump in the next election due to their unpaid salaries.
He referred to those who would vote for Trump as “some stupid motherf*ckers”
Snoop Dogg’s recent change of heart signifies a substantial and surprising shift in his public stance towards Trump. This is particularly noteworthy as Trump prepares for another presidential campaign in the forthcoming 2024 U.S. election.
According to polls analyzed by Bloomberg, Donald Trump is on track to secure a larger share of black votes than any previous Republican presidential candidate.
The data suggests that Trump could potentially earn anywhere between 14 percent and 30 percent of the black vote. In comparison, in the 2020 election,
Trump received eight percent of the black vote, which was still higher than any other Republican candidate before him.
Additionally, a recent poll by Morning Consult indicates that Joe Biden’s support among Black voters has declined while President Trump’s support has increased.
Over the course of the past year, Biden’s approval rating has dropped nine points from 70 percent to 61 percent, whereas Trump has seen a seven-point increase from 15 percent to 22 percent among this demographic.

OMG!!! Someone needs to notify Joe Biden immediately that Snoop Dog ain’t black!
Ha, Ha, Ha, that’s a good one Radman.!
What is so funny about “thug rappers” like Snoop is when I was growing up in the 80’s/early 90’s, these rappers were so hardcore anti-cops, anti-government and hated any kind of authorism, but as they became filthy rich and out of touch with their audience, they became more liberal & woke supporting idiots like Biden. I’ll always respect rappers like 50cent who from the start, supported Trump and was telling sellout bitches like IceCube and SnoopDog to stop being idiots.
This goes to show people will react to what opinion someone else has to say about other rather than pay attention or do the research themselves . maybe now Trump will get the backing he truly deserves when blacks see he is not the bad orange man they thought he was .
Hooray Victory awesome
what took so LONG
Who in their right mind can still support FJB or any Demorat? All anyone needs to do is look around and see what is going on.
Snooop has finally realized that Biden is out to enslave blacks as well as whites and allow browns to rule or so they think
Now the Snoop, aint’ no stoop.
Sadly there are a few of Plantation Mentality Negros that will seek notoriety and publicity by supporting a man like Trump. Snoop Dogg can join T. Scott. I myself and other Black Americans are in a dilemma for not having a person they could support in the next election for the office of the US President. Trumps criminal, racist and disrespect for women isn’t what should be leading the USA. Biden hasn’t spoken out about the Republicans efforts to make voting hard for black Americans, school choice and the open border.
Trump earned my respect with his respect for Marla Maples
