President Trump believes that divine intervention and a split-second head movement by him saved his life during an assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally, as he shared with former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson.

During a conversation with Dr. Ronny Jackson, Trump mentioned that he was glancing to his right at a chart displaying illegal immigration statistics when a bullet narrowly missed his ear.
“That chart that I was going over saved my life,” Trump said to Ronny Jackson by phone just hours after the attempted assassination, according to The New York Times.
“The border patrol saved my life,” he said. “If I hadn’t pointed at that chart and turned my head to look at it, that bullet would have hit me right in the head.”

Dr. Ronny Jackson’s nephew sustained an injury during the attempted assassination of Trump, as a bullet grazed his neck.
Fortunately, he is safe and recovering.
Trump attributed his survival to “God alone.”
“Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed.
