Joe Biden has declined to provide the House Oversight Committee with any IRS records or loan documents showing that the $200,000 check Jim Biden wrote to his brother Joe in 2018 was a repayment of a loan.
Chairman James Comer has requested evidence demonstrating the existence of such a loan, but none has been presented thus far.
The Bidens have been known to structure their income as interest-free “loans” in order to avoid paying taxes. This was the case with the $5 million wire from a Chinese firm described as an “interest-free loan,” allowing Hunter Biden to avoid taxation.
Furthermore, the Bidens have further engaged in what appears to be tax evasion and money laundering by shuffling funds between each other under the guise of loan repayments.
Additionally, James Comer has uncovered a direct payment of $200,000 to Joe Biden, while Jim Biden received $600,000 from Americore Health LLC in 2018 with the assurance that his political connections would lead to a large investment from the Middle East.
On March 1, 2018, Americore Health LLC made a payment of $200,000 to the personal bank account of Jim and Sara Biden.
On the same day, Jim Biden issued a check for the same amount to Joe Biden, otherwise known as “The Big Guy,” claiming that it was a repayment of a loan.
It is unclear whether documents exist which attest to Joe Biden’s loan of such an exorbitant sum; Comer asked what were the terms of this alleged agreement.
On Thursday, House Oversight Chairman James Comer requested that Joe Biden furnish loan documents and IRS filings pertaining to the $200,000 loan repayment reported by James Biden in 2018.
However, on Friday night it was announced that Joe Biden has declined to provide the relevant loan documentation as evidence of the purported transaction.

James Comer stated that, based on the White House’s own representations, it appears that no interest was paid on the purported “loan.”
In a letter to White House Counsel Edward Siskel, Comer noted, “The current lack of documentation raises doubts as to whether this transaction truly constituted repayment for a legitimate loan.”
“Whether it was a loan or not, James Biden’s March 1, 2018, check to Joe Biden demonstrates one way he personally benefited from his family’s shady influence peddling of his name and their access to him. Even if the transaction in question was part of a loan agreement, we are troubled that Joe Biden’s ability to recoup funds depended on his brother’s cashing-in on the Biden brand,” Comer said.
