In the video, Melania Trump discussed the “terrible and distressing experience” of the attempt on her husband’s life, expressing her dissatisfaction with the lack of proactive measures taken by law enforcement.
“I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech? There is definitely more to the story, and we need to uncover the truth,” she said, referring to the security lapses that allowed the shooter to come dangerously close to carrying out his attack.

Before the event, Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter, had been seen operating a drone near the rally location and was observed carrying suspicious equipment such as a rangefinder and a backpack.
Despite these warning signs, Crooks managed to access a rooftop position where he fired shots at the former president.
The security lapses prompted widespread public criticism and ultimately resulted in Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle’s resignation.
