In a debate filled with sharp exchanges, J.D. Vance delivered an assertive and commanding performance, earning praise from political commentators for his ability to dominate the discussion.

Abby Phillip, a CNN political analyst, succinctly captured the general mood, saying, “J.D. Vance came to this debate to land a bunch of punches, and he did. He landed a lot of punches in between all the niceties and all of that.”

Vance, a seasoned public speaker and political candidate, appeared well-prepared, while his opponent, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, struggled to match his energy and precision.

Walz’s performance raised eyebrows among political pundits, as his nervousness and missteps became apparent. Phillip speculated that Walz’s discomfort might stem from facing a “lawyer type” like Vance, someone used to handling high-pressure exchanges and navigating public debates with ease.

According to previous CNN reports, Walz was indeed apprehensive about the debate, with sources close to his campaign revealing that the governor feared disappointing Vice President Kamala Harris.

Senior campaign aides and associates hinted that Walz’s nervousness leading up to the debate may have contributed to his underwhelming showing.

“There was a clear lack of preparation and execution on Walz’s part,” Phillip continued. She emphasized the missed opportunity for Walz to effectively counter Vance’s arguments, particularly when the debate focused on critical issues that could have been used to strengthen his own platform.

However, not all commentators agreed on the cause of Walz’s missteps. Dana Bash, another CNN contributor, presented an alternate theory.

Rather than being underprepared, Bash argued that Walz may have been too prepared. “I think actually it’s the opposite,” she said. “I think he had too much preparation. He had so many lines that he was clearly trying to say, that he didn’t listen.”

Bash highlighted moments in the debate when Vance launched several pointed criticisms at Vice President Kamala Harris. Walz, instead of seizing the opportunity to counter effectively, seemed more concerned with sticking to pre-rehearsed talking points.

This approach left him struggling to engage meaningfully with Vance’s attacks and contributed to the impression that he was out of touch with the conversation unfolding around him.

One of the more noticeable gaps in Walz’s performance was his lack of responsiveness to the media. According to Bash, the governor’s limited media appearances during the campaign may have played a role in his unsteady debate performance.

“I think the lack of interviews that he has done with national media, with local media, it showed. He needed more reps,” Bash remarked.

Walz’s campaign has been marked by relatively few interviews and public appearances, including only one with Bash herself.

The lack of consistent media engagement might have deprived the governor of crucial practice in answering tough questions, something Vance has had plenty of experience with in his political career.

Jake Tapper, another influential CNN host, also weighed in on the debate. He pointed out that Vance’s experience in public speaking gave him a natural advantage.

“J.D. Vance is much more experienced at this—at public speaking, at defending himself, at pivoting,” Tapper observed.

Vance’s ability to control the narrative and deflect criticism with ease made him appear more competent and confident compared to Walz, whose discomfort was evident throughout the event.

But the praise for Vance’s performance wasn’t limited to the CNN panel. Chris Cuomo, a former CNN contributor and now a host on News Nation, also commended Vance for his adept handling of difficult questions. Specifically, Cuomo lauded how Vance dealt with what he described as biased fact-checking from the debate moderators, Margaret Brennan and Norah O’Donnell.

Cuomo cited a moment when Vance attempted to correct misinformation regarding Haitian migrants’ entry into the United States. However, Vance’s clarification was interrupted by the moderators, which Cuomo found notable.

“Vance wanted to correct something about how Haitians got into this country, and he was right,” Cuomo explained. “And the moderators wouldn’t let him correct it, very interesting.”

This incident underscored Vance’s ability to remain composed under pressure, even when faced with interruptions and seemingly unfair questions.

The general consensus among political observers was that Vance performed strongly, while Walz struggled to keep up. The governor’s inability to respond effectively to Vance’s attacks or shift the conversation in his favor has raised concerns about his campaign’s strategy moving forward.

With the debate now behind them, both candidates will likely reflect on their performances as they continue their respective campaigns.

As the election season intensifies, the question remains whether Walz can recover from this perceived stumble or if Vance’s momentum will propel him further toward electoral success.

Only time will tell how the dynamics of this debate will impact the broader political landscape.

  • what might be one of the most outrageous statements from a career leftist, John Kerry, the so-called climate envoy, has made it clear: The First Amendment is getting in the way of their grand plan to control what you think, what you say, and how you live your life. Kerry recently took the stage at a World Economic Forum panel and essentially called the First Amendment a “major block” to fighting so-called “misinformation.” Let’s call it what it really is—Kerry and his pals on the left want to censor any opinion that doesn’t align with their radical agenda.

That’s right, folks. The party of free speech is now the party of censorship. They have zero interest in debate. They have no room for dissenting opinions. What they want is complete control over the narrative. You step out of line, and you get hammered into silence.

The Left’s Assault on Free Speech
John Kerry said it himself: the First Amendment is a problem. And if that doesn’t scare you, it should. This is a man who has been at the top of Democratic politics for decades, and now he’s publicly admitting that free speech stands in the way of his agenda.

In his words, “Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to hammer [disinformation] out of existence.” Well, no kidding, Kerry! That’s the point! The First Amendment exists to protect speech, especially the kind that challenges the status quo or calls out government overreach. But that’s exactly what the left hates. They want to silence you. If you dare to question their climate narrative, or if you think for yourself, you’re the enemy.

Think back to 2020, when Twitter and Facebook censored the Hunter Biden laptop story. That’s just the beginning. Kerry and his climate cronies want more of that. They want to be the sole gatekeepers of truth, deciding what you can and can’t say.

Kamala Harris: A Censorship Nightmare Waiting to Happen
Now, if this censorship push doesn’t have you alarmed yet, let’s look ahead to what’s coming if Kamala Harris ends up in the White House. If Kerry thinks the First Amendment is a “problem,” imagine what Harris would do. She’s already proven that she’ll do and say anything to push the leftist agenda.

With Harris in charge, we’d be facing a full-blown assault on conservative voices. Mark my words, folks, this is what they want: one-party rule forever. They’ve already started laying the groundwork. They are conditioning the public to accept more and more censorship under the guise of fighting “misinformation.” What they really want is to destroy the conservative voice.

And it’s not just about shutting down climate skeptics. It’s about destroying any opposition to their far-left policies. They will target anyone who dares to stand in their way, from gun rights advocates to pro-life supporters. This is their endgame—a leftist echo chamber where no other opinions are allowed.

Censorship as a Tool for Power
What Kerry and Harris are doing is nothing new. The left has always used censorship as a tool to hold onto power. Remember when Big Tech colluded with the government to suppress conservative voices online? It’s still happening. We see it every day. Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter (before Elon took over), or Google, these platforms have been weaponized against conservative thought. Now Kerry’s just coming out and saying what we’ve known all along: the left wants to silence us.

But let’s be clear about one thing: this is about more than just speech. This is about control. When they control the flow of information, they control how people think. When they control how people think, they control everything.

If Harris takes the reins, we can expect this censorship crusade to ramp up like never before. Don’t let them fool you—this is about creating a permanent leftist regime, where your voice no longer matters.

Final Thoughts: The Fight for Free Speech
Look, we all know John Kerry is an idiot. That’s not news. What is news, and what should scare every freedom-loving American, is the fact that Kerry and the left are coming for the First Amendment. They’re coming for your right to speak freely, to challenge their twisted narrative, and to hold onto American values.

We need to wake up and realize that this isn’t just talk. This is a real threat. The left has abandoned free speech in favor of total control. And if Kamala Harris ends up in the White House, we’re in for the fight of our lives. The First Amendment has never been in greater danger. Don’t let them take it from us – VOTE Trump 2024

    • John Kerry is nothing more than a Traitor to America.!
He sided with the Vietkong during the Vietnam War, as did Hanoi Jane.
Kerry claimed to be a War Vet which turned out to be a complete lie, he didn’t fight alongside the American Soldiers, instead he ran to the enemy and friended them, to get out of Vietnam he shot himself either in the foot or leg (not sure which), he was given the purple heart and claimed to be a War Hero. BULLSHIT.!
Question is; how does one who’s a Traitor and a deserter, to his country become a Senator..?
Same question is, how does a foreign born Muslim become a President.?
The Communist Democrats allow anyone to call for the assassination of President Trump, without Top Stories by the Communist MSM, and should We The People know what’s going on and evidence is shown by the Republicans by questioning Wrey or Secret Service, the Communist Democrats call it MISSINFORMATION and PROPAGANDA.
But those same Communist Democrats can accuse a former President and many former staff members with made up bullshit and lies and the Communist MSM reports it as true facts.
      America, have you had enough.?
Or do you still want more of the Communist take over, of your lives.?
America, your not going to live better under Commie Harris if she manages to cheat her way into Office, instead you’ll be defenseless constantly looking over your shoulders wondering when that assassin’s bullet will hit.
Every single American better get out and vote President Trump, if your able to walk, Don’t use mail in ballots Communist use them to Cheat.!
They will eliminate the 1st and 2nd Amendment and come after all MAGA supporters, keep a firearm by your side or within arms reach should they start kicking or using a battling ram at your door fire every shot into it, don’t be scared since they’re going to kill you anyway.!

May God help the innocent children and all those who believe in you.
In Christ our Savior I ask to send the Archangel St. Michael to assist the strong and brave in the fight against good and evil.

  • The 3 women named should all be fired -Dana Bush is a horrible woman so disgustingly biased that she prosecutes conservatives instead of interviewing…the same goes for Margaret and Noah – really disgraceful when they kept cutting off Vancce when he was correct and THEY were wrong – Again – prosecutors instead of moderators. This time Vance was able to turn things around, remain calm and make those 2 hateful woman look like the fools they are.

  • The moderators got in the way…? I can hardly believe that since they are water-carrying opinion generators for the democrat agenda and party.
This is why Trump does not want to do anymore debates. It is bad enough to couter what you opponents say, but to be cut off in the middle of a response, to be fack-checked on true statements and not have pushback on your opponent is pathetic.
Kamala says she wants another debate… but WILL NOT do it on Fox. She wants to only stand in front of those that bow down to the democrats and not call them out on their BS.
