Two sources familiar with the matter have revealed that discussions have taken place within President Joe Biden’s family regarding the potential scenario of him exiting his re-election campaign.
The prevailing sentiment in these conversations is that if Biden were to decide to step down, as some of his closest allies increasingly anticipate, the exit plan should be designed to position the party favorably against former President Donald Trump.
It should also be a fitting conclusion to Biden’s more than five decades of service in elected office.
Specifically, Biden’s family members have deliberated over how he would prefer to conclude his re-election bid on his own terms and with a well-thought-out strategy in place.
The considerations at the forefront of these discussions include the impact of the campaign on Biden’s health, his family, and the country’s stability.

The possibility of Biden contemplating stepping aside, let alone his family mapping out a potential exit plan, is an unprecedented development given his repeated assertions that he would not yield his position as the presumptive nominee.
Nevertheless, concerns have been mounting among party leaders, donors, and even officials involved in his re-election effort since a particularly damaging debate three weeks ago.
Simultaneously, Democrats are observing Republicans coalescing around Trump following an assassination attempt and his acceptance of the party’s nomination on Thursday night.
White House spokesman Andrew Bates denied that any such exit discussions are happening among the family.
“That is not happening, period,” he said. “The individuals making those claims are not speaking for his family or his team — and they will be proven wrong. Keep the faith.”
On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Friday, Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon acknowledged that the campaign has seen some “slippage,” but she said it’s been “a small movement” and insisted Biden is “absolutely” still in the race.
Ron Klain, Biden’s former White House chief of staff and an adviser to him for decades, said in an interview that Biden is hearing the public and private calls for him to exit the race.
Five additional House Democrats have joined the increasing number of congressional lawmakers urging President Biden to withdraw from the 2024 election.
In a unified statement, Reps. Jared Huffman, Marc Veasey, Chuy Garcia, and Marc Pocan encouraged Biden to step down.
“Mr. President, with great admiration for you personally, sincere respect for your decades of public service and patriotic leadership, and deep appreciation for everything we have accomplished together during your presidency, it is now time for you to pass the torch to a new generation of Democratic leaders.”
Further pushing for Biden’s withdrawal, Rep. Sean Casten of Illinois penned an op-ed for the Chicago Tribune, stating, “It’s time for Joe Biden to pass the torch.”
Casten emphasized, “[P]olitics, like life, isn’t fair. And as long as this election is instead litigated over which candidate is more likely to be held accountable for public gaffes and ‘senior moments,’ I believe that Biden is not only going to lose but is also uniquely incapable of shifting that conversation.”

I have to say because of his having the goods on “Hitlery’s” flim-flam deals back in Arkansas among other things, he was too big “a liability” to keep around. Many others after him have had similar fates with suicide or their car going out of control and other such mysterious events, some strung in a tree and shot, just for some kind of past connection to these people; so I can understand so many close to any of these “power mongers” would get cold feet about taking major action, or even opening their mouths!
We all know what happened to the Obama’s personal Martha’s Vineyard chef, Tafari Campbell who was only paddle-boarding in a tiny salt pond on the estate and somehow drowned himself, with some conspicuous circumstances surrounding that event too; but that got the “whitewash treatment.”

my father was born in Farmersville Texas, and knew Audie Murphy, my Dad also dated Audie’s sister Billie Jean Murphy, and he still has his high School annual with a young Audie Murphys photo in it.
After WW11 broke out Audie managed to get in the United States Army and my Dad Jesse Smith, joined the Air Force.
My dad passed away in 2017 and buried in Arlington, Texas with full Honors.
I joined the United States Army in 1979-1983 Honorably discharged.
To this day I still watch Audie’s movie and study his life in To Hell And Back.
Only if and IF is a big word, America, would be better off with brave soldiers such as General McCarther, General Omar Bradley, General George Paton, General Eisenhower and Admiral Nimitz and Admiral Bull Halsey. They wouldn’t have allowed the Communist Democrats to go this far to destroy the Constitution and America, They would have taken control and arrested the Commies.

Can we believe this, what are the odds that I chose to mention Audie out of quite a few options that I easily could have, but he popped into my head as I wrote, “I kid you not!” And then this happens where your family and in particular Dad along with you were all connected and in such a beautiful way, all true American Patriots! Oh Lord, this inspires me so deeply as I know it’s a “Godsend” and Audie is a man I admire and look up to as a great past Patriot American and to be thankful for all he did; and with the family connections you have it makes it incredibly special now and important to me; so much so that I must thank your Dad and You; from my heart thank you my fellow Patriot Americans!

Isn’t this something as I love watching Audie in all the movies he was part of and many of which are top classics now! I could explain another time but I did check out that industry and I think I made the right decision for me to let it go; but would not have done that if I was back in your Dad’s and Audie’s generation, because I think I would have related very well with all those guys and gals back then, so I’d give it a whirl or the old college try for sure!
