In a recent article under the headline Sterilize Children? CA Assembly Passed Legislation Approving EXACTLY That! [VIDEO], I wrote much of what follows, but I’m repeating it here so you can get a bigger picture, and why the followup is so important. I included the video that was attached to the original article too.
California’s legislative assembly takes the lead (?) again! I’m not at all convinced what they’re doing qualifies as “leadership,” but they’re going full bore with their twisted agendas while hiding behind the smokescreen created by current events.
In case you missed it (it wouldn’t have been hard with all the fluff surrounding the so-called pandemic), it was with no debate or hesitation that the California Assembly voted overwhelmingly a few weeks ago to give minors and adults surgeries and cross-sex hormones (and funding said procedures with taxpayer dollars) that will permanently destroy their reproductive systems.
WATCH:
AB 2218 establishes, according to its author, Assemblyman Miguel Santiago (D) Los Angeles, something called an “LGBT Transgender Wellness Fund” is designed to provide grants to hospitals, nonprofits, health care clinics, (like Planned Parenthood), and other medical providers that supply cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers for minors, as well as “sex change” operations and cross-sex hormones for adults.
The bill originally asked for $15 million to start the fund, but that amount was recently removed from the bill text. Now the exact amount added to the fund will be decided by the legislature at a later date.
Numerous letters of objection were written, including one from Dr. Quentin Van Meter, whose letter you can read the full text of here.
Several other letters of opposition from various medical professionals were also submitted. You can see them if you follow the links below:
- American College of Pediatricians
- National Taskforce for Therapy Equality
- J. Michael Kuiper, Phd. Clinical Psychologist
- Barry Byrne, MFT Therapist
At the time of my previous article, the latest information available said that the funding hadn’t yet been settled upon and that it would be rolled in at a later date.
The fate of the bill to fund transgender treatments that permanently destroy the reproductive systems of minors is now in the hands of the nine members of the Senate Health Committee when they return to the capitol at the end of the month. The time to convince these legislators to dump this bill is now, while they are home in their districts.
We now know that the date is coming down to the wire, and just a handful of legislators could make or break passing the funding.
What can you do? (Let me be clear, we OPPOSE the bill, for many reasons, so we’re hoping you will do the same…)
Two action options:
1.) If you live in the district of one of these nine Senators, (see list below) then call their district office and make an appointment to talk with the Senator personally or with a senior member of their staff.
Don’t be intimidated. Staff members are used to meeting with constituents all the time. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your pastor and let your Senator know about your concerns.
What do you think would happen if Senators got hundreds of meeting requests regarding this bill? They would take notice. No more silence.
2.) Call these nine Senators’ offices and inundate them with phone calls asking them to vote NO on AB 2218. Then post this article on your social media accounts and ask others to make calls too.

If you live in any of these districts, we encourage you to get on the horn and make your opposition to the bill known. The state budget is already multiple billions of dollars in deficit, and the citizens certainly can’t afford to pay for such a mess.
