Two independent journalists, who both have experience reporting on riots and with what they are calling the”Fake Antifa Press Corp”, made a video to help educate people on riot Organizing tactics that are used both by Antifa and by Black Lives Matters.
“The reason why the “fake Antifa press” hates me & BLM tries to kill me Is not because I “mischaracterize” their protests as “violent” But because unlike most media outlets & ind reporters I don’t cover up their crimes & refuse to submit to their rules for press,” Elijah Schaffer, a reporter for The Blaze, wrote.
People exploiting the nation’s protection of journalism have corrupted the privileges of media by attacking police and real reporters, and it is so dangerous that it has to be addressed by even the highest level of law enforcement. Attorney General Bill Barr has weighed in that it is a “good start” to remove some protections for Fake Media that Democrats had tried to make into law at the start of the domestic uprisings in May.
This is an important topic.
In his recent video, Schaffer said, “Press don’t put pronouns and their political affiliations on their faceplate holder, Fake Antifa Press is not just something to laugh at. This is about Fake Antifa Press. I want to expose them because bad stuff is happening, like this fake press, because they attack the police,” Elijah Schaffer, whose Twitter name is Elijah Riot, and who is a reporter for Blaze Media.
“I have a history with Antifa, and I was thrown into the press with these guys so I have seen it. And it happens so they can say the Police are attacking their press,” Schaffer said.
They are using their court order immunity to obstruct. People are abusing their rights and they are deceiving people so they can attack the police. Governments are shilling for these guys,” he said.
Schaffer had on guest Tayler Hanson who was beaten by Antifa and people who called themselves press and “Legal observers”, when observing an arrest in Portland Oregon. Hanson is the artist who made the “Baby Lives Matter” mural videos that went viral recently.
Hanson told Schaffer that he went to report on the events in Portland, because he was “tired of seeing them beat people in the streets, tired of seeing new things come out like when Jay [Trump supporter] was killed.”
Schaffer asked about Fake Antifa Press
“They are so easy to spot. They paint yellow Press all over themselves and then they harass the cops. So it is easy to spot them. They were so obvious. I was recording, and press gear. I didn’t have a press vest,” Hanson said.
“You got mixed in with Antifa, right?” Schaffer said.
“Yeah they were doing a push, and I was trying to get a good photo of an arrest and, the officer just arrested me. I come from a fahmily of law enforcement so they understand my passion for exposing the people who are killing officers in the street,” Hanson said.
“We really don’t want to get arrested. There is so much fake press, there is no way for anyone to know if someone is Antifa, there has been legislation that law enforcement can’t interfere with press, and then a Fox News reporter found fake Antifa helmest.. and it goes on,” Schaffer said.
Hanson then talked about when Antifa found him and had doxed him from his mug shot that night, and said,”they found my name. They knew exactly who I was. I was sent a post on Twitter by my follower to tell me that someone else, an Antifa member had posted about me. That is when they jumped me. I was walking around the corner and they surrounded me, pushed me. They threw me on the ground and kicked me and told me to stay out of Portland. I am lucky they didn’t kill me, because they had just killed Jay,” he said.

Schaffer’s experiences were covered by Paul Saaca for The Blaze who wrote, “BlazeTV host and reporter Elijah Schaffer covered the Black Lives Matter protest in Rochester on Saturday night. While covering the protests that escalated into civil unrest where at least one officer was injured and an unlawful assembly was declared, Schaffer was physically assaulted by an alleged Black Lives Matter supporter who was falsely posing as a member of the press.”
