President Trump has now ordered the government not to do business with firms that promote critical race theory. But you can bet that someone will violate the order intentionally. Trump says that the critical race theory (CRT) is harmful. He says that it is divisive.
Trump announced:
“A few weeks ago, I BANNED efforts to indoctrinate government employees with divisive and harmful sex and race-based ideologies. Today, I’ve expanded that ban to people and companies that do business with our Country, the United States Military, Government Contractors, and Grantees. Americans should be taught to take PRIDE in our Great Country, and if you don’t, there’s nothing in it for you!”
Here is a partial look at Trump’s declaration:
Section 1. Purpose. From the battlefield of Gettysburg to the bus boycott in Montgomery and the Selma-to-Montgomery marches. Heroic Americans have valiantly risked their lives to ensure that their children would grow up in a Nation living out its creed. Expressed in the Declaration of Independence.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” It was this belief in the inherent equality of every individual that inspired the Founding generation. To risk their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to establish a new Nation.
Unique among the countries of the world. President Abraham Lincoln understood that this belief. It is “the electric cord” that “links the hearts of patriotic and liberty-loving” people. no matter their race or country of origin.
It is the belief that inspired the heroic black soldiers of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment to defend that same Union at great cost in the Civil War. And it is what inspired Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to dream that his children would one day “not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
Thanks to the courage and sacrifice of our forebears, America has made significant progress toward realization of our national creed, particularly in the 57 years since Dr. King shared his dream with the country.
Today, however, many people are pushing a different vision of America that is grounded in hierarchies based on collective social and political identities rather than in the inherent and equal dignity of every person as an individual.
This ideology is rooted in the pernicious and false belief that America is an irredeemably racist and sexist country; that some people, simply on account of their race or sex, are oppressors; and that racial and sexual identities are more important than our common status as human beings and Americans.

The CRT divides people and it denigrates this country. The CRT recognizes systemic racism in almost every facet of life but it is now banned by presidential decree. Racism is ingrained in the individual. But there are groups such as the KKK, skinheads and the White supremacists that organize these individuals. They are disgraceful but covered by the First Amendment unless they get violent.
We should not be teaching this. But wouldn’t it be better to teach everyone on how to get along. Bring them together and not divide people by race. But that would lead to more fighting and violence under the guise of social structuring.
Trump ordered all government agencies to quit having classes on CRT. But he is meeting a lot of resistance from the Deep State. Now, the government will no longer do businesses with companies that promote CRT.
That will put some companies in a bind. They are being pressure by BLM and antifa to keep the program in place but if they do, they cannot bid on the lucrative government contracts. But is there a happy compromise? No, there isn’t but in the end the companies must make a stand one way or the other.
