James OKeefe, the President and CEO of Project Veritas, a group of investigative journalists who make undercover videos to expose government corruption, posted his latest work showing a supporter and ally of Democrat candidate for US Senate for Arizona, who works for a gun lobby ground called Everytown, admiting he is working closley with the Senate campaign.

“We have to keep this firewall or whatever and pretend like we are not connected,” an Anytown Gun Lobbyist said about the Mark Kelly for Senate Campaign. “It is illegal, we pass messages through press releases, and we have to do it that way because it is against everything we believe in. The NRA would tear us apart in court. They have more money and power. We are so careful.”

The NRA saw the video and responded: “Buckle Up, Everytown”.

“We are not saying that Kelly is lying to the voters, Alan Bederka is saying that he is lying to the voters about the true extent of his opposition to gun rights,” O’Keefe said.

“Our Project Veritas Action Fund journalists went to Kelly’s home to ask him questions about what Bederka said—but, he made them wait more than 30 minutes at the front door after they were allowed inside the gate–before accusing them of trespassing and ordering them to leave his property.”

In another exchange Bederka opened up more about the attitudes inside the campaign
to elect Kelly to the Senate:

Alan Bederka, Data Manager for Everytown Fun Safety, is heard in the video saying,”I work in Politics, I am used to everyone being a liar… and then a little further the left, he’s probably in favor of a general assault weapons ban and what that would mean is no more manufacturing assault weapons of general consumer consumption. In Arizona and any state. Things like an assault weapons ban which would be freaking lovely,” he said.

When asked whether Mark Kelly supports that, Bederka said, “Oh Yeah”. “You have to beat their propagandists, that is the problem,” he said, When asked how they do that, Bederka said, “arrest them”.

O’Keefe said that the videos are to expose how Mark Kelly is able to deceive his voters. Bederka says that Kelly is deceiving people by not admitting that gun bills will be the main part of his administration, even though it is not a main part of the campaign.

“If he is open about his opinions but doesn’t focus specifically on the ones that are less likely to change people’s minds, there is a higher probability the kind of legislation you hoping to see get enacted, You know? Hopefully, he is going to support more gun proposals than his milquetoast proposals on his website would lead me to believe because they are pretty milquetoasts.

Bederka talks about the use of Press Releases to communicate legally with a series of campaign press releases back and forth to share ideas and signal moves,”I wish we would give up the goat, and just admit we are connected”, Bederka said/

O’Keefe points out how important the Senate race is in Airzona as echoed by Martha McSally, his Republican challenger:
