The Arizona Cardinals travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, in a Week 8 NFL matchup kicking off at 1 p.m. ET.

Arizona enters at 2-5 and fourth in the NFC West, with its only two wins coming on the road, at the Chargers in Week 1 and the Rams in Week 6. Dallas sits at 3-4 and second in the NFC East, but is just 1-2 at home this season.

The Cowboys arrive off a 38-21 road win over Philadelphia on Oct. 26 and average 27 points per game, fifth-best in the league. Arizona, meanwhile, is giving up 29.7 points per game, a bottom-10 defensive mark, following a 30-16 home loss to Denver in Week 7.

Brissett’s heavy workload

Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett leads the NFL in pass attempts per game at 40.3 and threw 48 times against Denver last week. Dallas has intercepted only two passes all season, which could give Brissett room to operate — though five of his six interceptions this year came in Weeks 4 through 6. The Cowboys have just 10 sacks on the year, so Brissett is likely to have time in the pocket. The bigger question for Arizona is whether it can move the ball efficiently without leaning on 45-plus throws.

Tight end Trey McBride has been the most consistent piece of that passing attack, with 59 catches on 78 targets and at least seven receptions in five straight games. Dallas allows 228 passing yards per game. McBride’s four touchdown catches lead the Cardinals, and his red-zone usage will be worth watching given Arizona may need points to keep pace with Dallas’s offense.

Dallas wants the efficient version

Quarterback Dak Prescott needed only 27 pass attempts in last week’s win at Philadelphia, throwing three touchdowns and pushing his season total to 1,851 passing yards, fifth in the NFL. Arizona allows 354 total yards per game, a bottom-10 figure, which could let Dallas run the ball and let Prescott be selective. He has been sacked just seven times this season, tied for fewest in the league, against an Arizona pass rush with 15 sacks on the year.

Running back Javonte Williams has scored a rushing touchdown in five consecutive games and posted a career-high 155 yards against Philadelphia for his first 100-yard game this season. His eight rushing touchdowns are tied for the NFL lead. Arizona allows 126 rushing yards per game, also a bottom-10 mark, making Williams a likely focal point for Dallas’s offense on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
