Today, President Donald Trump surrendered at Fulton County jail in Georgia in connection to an election case. This development has sent shockwaves throughout the political landscape and further intensified the already heated 2024 presidential race.
This comes after an indictment related to the 2020 Georgia election.
As Trump’s plane departed for Georgia prior to his processing, a number of individuals gathered outside the prison.
Just hours after the arrest, Trump returned to Twitter and tweeted for the first time since Elon Musk restored him to the platform, renamed X, earlier this year.

On his website, the former president released the following statement:
Today, at the notoriously violent jail in Fulton County, Georgia, I was ARRESTED despite having committed NO CRIME.
The American people know what’s going on.
What has taken place is a travesty of justice and ELECTION INTERFERENCE.
The Left wants to intimidate YOU out of voting for a political outsider who puts the American people FIRST.
But today, I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA.
If you are doing poorly due to the sinister people in control of our country right now, don’t even think about donating!

How can such a travesty of justice occur in the United States. President Trump has been violated in so many ways. If proof is given, then justice he will have to pay. However, this is overkill. He’s been tried and convicted in the news media, by Democrats and the far left. The cost involved in all these appearances have been outrageous. I have no way of knowing if he is innocent or guilty, but I know he has more guts than the whole congress combined. I feel no Republican or Democrat should have to endure such treatment.
