In a recent interview, John Thomas, founder of the DeSantis Super PAC and political advocate in Florida, took aim at Governor Ron DeSantis and his policies.
During his appearance on News Nation, Thomas revealed that he has lost faith in DeSantis as a viable candidate due to his lack of charm, charisma, discipline and likeability.
The outspoken critic took a strong stance against the Governor’s handling of the coronavirus crisis as well as other issues such as public education and healthcare.
John took things even further by publicly dismantling the Governor’s positions. He stated that he believes that “Ron DeSantis has failed to address Floridians’ needs during this pandemic and beyond. His policies are misguided and dangerous for our state.”
Beyond attacking the Governor directly, Thomas spoke highly of Trump stating that “he is a strong leader who understands how to get things done”.
John Thomas: I, along with a lot of grassroots supporters and major donors, said, okay, let’s draft DeSantis, encourage him to run for president, because we think he’s got the stuff.
Except there was one problem, Adrian. It’s that when Governor DeSantis did end up launching, he had a failure to launch, and he’s never recovered. And while he may be a great governor, he’s not ready for the national stage, and we don’t think that he’s ready to beat Joe Biden.
And on the flip side, Adrian, we think that Donald Trump, in spite of all of his legal challenges, has honestly run nearly a flawless effort with strategic ad spends against his opponent, DeSantis, good messaging choices that really I hadn’t seen in 2016 or 2020. So for all of those reasons, we all reversed course to get behind Donald Trump, not just because we think he’s going to be the nominee, but honestly, we think he’s the best person to beat Joe Biden in the general.
(…)
…Looking back, it seems quite clear, right, that DeSantis might not be ready for prime time. Was it was a risk? Certainly. And it was a miscalculation on our behalf, thinking that sometimes, and we’ve seen this in other cases what makes somebody good for one office? The skills don’t directly translate to another. For instance, when you’re running for governor or Congress, oftentimes the main skills you need are ability to raise money and roll television ads. When you run for president, yes, of course, that’s important. But retail politicking, charisma, charm, discipline, being able to conduct yourself in a likable manner on television interviews, those are all equal, if not more important, than your ability to roll the TV ads. And DeSantis just hasn’t had it. And then the last thing I would say, Adrian, is like, there are some basic failure launch mechanics, for instance, choosing to launch on Twitter spaces. Of course, I don’t fault the governor. Nobody could have known that system was broken, but the governor blew it in the sense of he didn’t even have a simulcast video stream for new television stations to cover it.

More and more people are realizing that Trump is the “go-to” candidate to rescue our economy and country. The challenge now is how to reach Democrat voters who have been brainwashed by 24-7-365 negative press and extraordinary opposition by Dem politicians, plus RINOs, Establishment Repub politicians and un-elected activist bureaucrats who cannot abide an effective, successful and popular outsider undermining their control over us.
I certainly hope so, cause this cockroach has all but ruined this country, If we can get him voted out in ’24, it will take a long time to right us again, biden is filth to the bone.
Most Americans especially TRUMPERS knew that DeSantis was not ready for a Presidency position. I didn’t like the fact that DeSantis dragged his feet to enter into the race because he was waiting for Florida to change the rules that if he didn’t make it to be President he could go back to being Governor of Florida!
Not a risk taker therefore, no guts no glory!
About Time, DeSantis is good at being a Governor but way to young to figure out, with lack of experience to save an entire Country.
We need President Trump, a business man with a very sharp mind.
Trump 2024.!
FJB and all Communist Anti-American Democrats and those who vote Democrat.
DeSantis is time to step out the race losers can’t win.
