Three top non-political career senior prosecutors have told DOJ Investigators that former Mueller Prosecutor Aaron Zelinsky lied under oath to the US House Judiciary Committee when he told the Committee that he had been told of “political pressure ” to shorten the DOJ’s sentencing recommendation for Roger Stone, the longtime Trump advisor and loyalist from the draconian 7 to 9 year sentence Zelinsky wanted to hit Stone with.

The announcement that Zelinsky lied according to other prosecutors, was made very quietly on Friday amid a busy campaign cycle, after a media blitz announcing Zelinsky’s claims of political bias just a week before.

The Federalist caught a story in the Washington Post, who wrote the following:

“Three career supervisors in the D.C. U.S. attorney’s office have disputed the sworn congressional testimony given by a former prosecutor on Robert S. Mueller III’s team, telling Justice Department officials they believe he mischaracterized communications with them about undue political pressure in the criminal case against President Trump’s longtime friend Roger Stone, according to people familiar with the matter.”

The Democrat media has been directing and producing a public trial in the media against Stone, with reckless and wanton disregard of his civil liberties for a long time, as if they are fully invested in one certain outcome- that he is guilty.

And not surprisingly, as The Federalist pointed out, the Democrat Media alliance made sure to publicize the story of when Zelinsky testified to Congress, with bombastic, eye-catching headlines, sure to build upon the case against Stone and against President Donald J. Trump, but when it came to cleaning up their mess, the media partners of the Democrats are disinterested.

The Federalist chronicled the dirty democrat aligned media and their headlines when it looked bad for Stone in an article by Mollie Hemingway:

Ans searching to find out who carried the news that Zelinsky allegedly made the story up is only found in Independent media.

RedState, with an author under the name of ShipwreckedCrew, did a great follow up on Zelinsky’s claims with a follow-up article and wrote,”He [Aaron Zelinsky] made claims about political influence having been brought to bear on the Acting United States Attorney to withdraw the trial team’s Sentencing Statement, claiming that pressure came from Main Justice in order to make President Trump happy after he had publicly criticized the trial team’s effort to have Stone sentenced to 7-9 years.  But his testimony was full of holes, innuendo, and speculation about the supposed “political interference” in order to please President Trump.  He didn’t actually talk to any senior DOJ official on the subject, and he wasn’t sure what form that pressure was supposed to have taken.”

As Newsmax points out, it was Zelinsky who had recommended the bitter sentencing, so his conflict on interest in being shut down seems only obvious. In an article, Newsmax wrote, “Stone was convicted of lying to lawmakers looking into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. Zelinsky and other prosecutors proposed a jail sentence of 7 to 9 years for Stone.”

Marisa Herman wrote for Newsmax,”Sources told the newspaper that some supervisors privately reported they disagreed with Zelinsky’s testimony. Sources told the Post that they felt Zelinsky had not accurately described what they conveyed.”

The Washington Post covered the story of Zelinsky’s missteps, Matt Zapotsky and Spencer Hsu wrote, “Robert Litt, a lawyer for Zelinsky, said in an email, “He stands by his testimony and the Mueller report.”

WAPO wrote, “Although the extent of the dispute is unknown, the supervisors’ account is notable because Zelinsky conceded to lawmakers that he did not discuss the Stone case directly with Barr, Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen or then-acting U.S. attorney Tim Shea. Rather, he said, it was his supervisors who explained why the department was treating Roger Stone differently from everyone else.”

So now that it is Zelinsky on the “hot seat” for allegedly lying to Congress, the natural question would become what sentence should Zelinsky get if found guilty? Or will this be another case of blistering and humiliating bias by the journalists in the “Mainstream media” that the left completely ignores again?

Is Araon Zelinksy above the law?

Aaron Zelinsky may be guilty of far more than telling Congress some lies about political pressure. Zelinsky may need to be investigated for a number of lies.

When Americans say “investigate the investigators” it appears they need to start with Aaron Zelinsky.
