Bill Barr the US Attorney General talked to reporters recently about the credibility of the Mainstream Media when covering the violent domestic uprisings, and the organizing powers behind the riots and fires in America since May, saying that reporters were missing the obvious for political purposes.

“They’re basically a collection of liars. Most of the mainstream media. They’re a collection of liars and they know exactly what they’re doing. A perfect example of that were the riots. Right on the street it was clear as day what was going on, anyone observing it, reporters observing it, it could not have escaped their attention that this was orchestrated violence by a hardened group of street fighting radicals and they kept on excluding from their coverage all the video of this and reporting otherwise and they were doing that for partisan reasons, and they were lying to the American people. It wasn’t until they were caught red-handed after essentially weeks of this lie that they even started feeling less timid,” Barr said on the flight back to Washington Friday afternoon, to Townhall.

John Solomon of Just the News reported on Townhall’s story and said ” Barr during his scathing rebuke accused media members of practicing political partisanship.”

The Epoch Times reported, “AG Barr reiterated his concerns about the journalistic landscape in the US, saying the Press has done away with journalistic integrity in order to propagate political narratives.”

Their behavior is “destructive to our Republic,” Barr said. “The press has dropped, in my view – and I’m talking about the national mainstream media – has dropped any pretense of professional objectivity and are political actors, highly partisan who try to shape what they’re reporting to achieve a political purpose and support a political narrative that has nothing to do with the truth.”

Barr has used his office to deny a popular Community Organizing tactic of using “Legal Observers” in conflicts with law enforcement to obstruct arrests.

How the left uses “Legal Observers”:

ABC News reported on the matter, “A three-judge panel on Thursday temporarily halted protections for journalists and legal observers covering the unrest In Portland, Oregon. Last week, federal Judge Michael Simon ruled that journalists and legal observers were exempt from federal officers’ physical force, arrest or other treatment if the officers “reasonably know” that a person is a journalist or legal observer.”

These statements about the Media by Barr are especially interesting because Barr is expected to release a report of some-sort about the John Durham investigation into ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ before the Presidential election in November. Durham is investigating the circumstances that led up to what is considered to be the largest illegal intel operation against a sitting President, and those players include members of the national Mainstream Media.

Nationally, trust in media has dropped to near the bottom, causing many Americans to include the “Media” in the collective “Swamp” of career politicians, Marxists and Communists in the Democrat party.

Barr’s comments validate the general consensus of the Americans who identify as Independents and Republicans. Democrats, suspiciously trust the media at a much higher rate.

Exploiting the rights and privileges of the media to unseat a duly elected President, and to obstruct justice is something that is coming to an end under Barr.
