With Joe still hiding in his basement, his wife is trying to somehow build some excitement for her husband’s campaign, the missing man.
In one of her scheduled softball questions interviews, this one with CNN host Jake Tapper, Jill dismissed the idea that her husband, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, should be criticized for any gaffes because President Donald Trump is in office.
What was first a strategy that the Jake Tappers’ of the world were behind, you know keeping Joe in the basement because of “COVID-19”, is not so popular now in the media as Biden’s lead is basically gone or eroding quickly.
There were some rumblings last week about Joe not getting out fighting to win the election.
Since Joe’s gaffs have become legendary, Tapper asked the former second lady about them for the sake of his audience. What he got in return, seemed to rock his boat a bit.
“Your husband has been known to make the occasional gaffe,” said Tapper, appearing to start a question before Biden interrupted him by remarking “you can’t even go there.”
“After Donald Trump, you cannot even say the word ‘gaffe,’” she said.
Tapper replied: “I can’t even say the word ‘gaffe?’”
“Nope, done. It’s gone,” Biden said in response, remarking again that the gaffe issue is “so over” after getting pressed by Tapper.
Over the course of the last year, former Vice President Joe Biden has drawn attention to himself for making gaffes, questionable remarks, or otherwise false statements.
Here is one of Joe’s more famous brain fog incidents earlier this year.
He forgets the words to the Declaration of Independence:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, [that] all men and women are created by—you know, you know, the thing.” The relevant text of the declaration reads: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights…”
Or how about when Joe butchered the Pledge of Allegiance
Hey Biden team, you are losing the PR game and are not going to be able to win an election with Joe in the basement and Jill trying to silence reports for calling out her husband.
The focus is on voter fraud, and the Trump team has a lot of people getting ready to shut it down, so guess what, Four More Years.
