A previously outspoken atheist who used to argue against the existence of God made a surprising announcement on social media on Monday. She revealed that she is now seeking to deepen her relationship with Him.

This marks a significant shift for someone who had been strongly opposed to the idea of Salvation.

In a post on the social media platform X, writer Freely Ashley from ThePublica shared that she had experienced a transformation that affected both her mind and heart.

While she did not explicitly mention being influenced by Christian teachings, Ashley stated that she had reached the undeniable conclusion that God’s existence is now “obvious” to her.

She also referenced a tweet from last November where she had adamantly expressed her disbelief in God during a theological debate.

During a larger argument about the topic, one of the platform’s users commented to her, “The existence of God is the most obvious truth in the universe.”

Ashley quoted him back and commented, “It’s not so obvious to me, friend.”

Monday, the wife, mother, and avowed “former leftist” shared the exchange and commented, “It became obvious to me.”

In subsequent comments, Ashley elaborated on her emotions towards God following her encounter with Him.

“I believe in God. This is very new. And scary,” she wrote. “Why is it scary? I’ve denied the existence of God since I could remember.”

Ashley added, “I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this. I’ve spent a lot of time fighting against it. I’ve seen too many signs in my life to deny it any longer.”

Ashley made two additional posts, elaborating on her experience with faith.

“So, I believe in God and I’m developing my own relationship with that in the ways that best resonate and guide me. And that’s where I’m at right now,” she told her followers.

She concluded:

“I’m not labeling myself as anything right now. I’m wearing the cross to remind myself there’s always an audience (God) and to act accordingly. I put it on about a month ago.

“I appreciate those with have reached out with kindness. Thank you. I probably think about this differently than you do, so don’t follow me too fast lol.”

All Christians are encouraged to pray for Ashley’s spiritual journey, guiding her towards Jesus, regardless of any previous comments she may have made.
God’s love for her is just as strong as it is for those who have been lifelong believers and faithful worshippers.
However, as the scripture tells us in James 2:19, “even the Demons believe” in Jesus’ salvation, so Ashley does have a lot of work ahead of her.
Believers all around the world should lift up their prayers, asking for Ashley and others in similar circumstances to find themselves embraced by the loving arms of the savior of humanity – the son of God who graced this earth and purified us from sin with his sacrifice.

  • It is a believe attributed to Trump saying more than once: ”what do you have to lose”?

And I recalled another old saying: ”for things to get better they need to get bad first”.

I supposed that’s the stage the whole world is at right now. Changing will be a win.
