Throughout much of the 2024 Presidential Election campaign, Democrats have been vigorously attempting to link Donald Trump to Project 2025.

However, the Heritage Foundation’s blueprint for a potential second Trump presidency has minimal connection to the Republican candidate.

In fact, persistent claims from Democrats alleging that the former president intends to implement Project 2025 upon a return to office have prompted CNN to engage in fact-checking efforts.

Despite knowing that these claims about Trump’s intentions are untrue, Democrats continue to promote the policy framework as part of their fearmongering tactics aimed at winning over moderate voters.

This strategy is a crucial component of their campaign, particularly as Republicans have allocated little time to defend against these dubious allegations.

Nevertheless, the left is struggling to accurately depict the situation. Left-wing MSNBC broadcaster Joy Reid inadvertently shared what she believed was Trump’s “current campaign website,” which unequivocally displayed Agenda 47 instead of Project 2025.

“What happened to the Platinum Plan?” Reid asked, as she continued to scroll through Trump’s policy ideas. “What I do see, however, is this; Donald Trump’s current plan which is, in his current website where he’s showing his policies he would implement in a second Trump term, [to] cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children.”

She failed to recognize that she was actually quoting Trump’s real policy instead of the Project 2025 policies she was attempting to misattribute to them. As numerous people highlighted on social media, Reid is essentially promoting support for Trump due to the logical nature of the policies she referenced.

Another user pointed out the positivity of a presidential candidate making their policies available online.

Others were less surprised by Reid’s slip up:

LOL! What a clown!
