The battles inside the Octagon during UFC’s Mexico City event on Saturday night were almost overshadowed by a chaotic scuffle among fans in the stands.

The reason for the fight remains unclear, but cameras captured a violent brawl that resulted in at least one fan being knocked unconscious.

The fan who was knocked out seemed to have believed that his role in the fight had ended, as he had lowered his arms and was unprepared for the powerful left hook that struck his jaw.

Security was noticeably absent from the tumultuous scene, with stadium staff seemingly allowing the violence to escalate unchecked.

This alarming lack of security did not escape the notice of UFC President Dana White, who labeled the brawl and absence of security as one of the most outrageous incidents he had ever witnessed.

“The crazy thing about that fight [is], when that fight broke out, it felt like it kept going forever,” White said in the post-fight press conference. “I ran over there, and I was watching it. Nobody stopped it. I was waiting for security to come in. They just let them go until it was over. That’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.

“I don’t think it’s a bad look for the UFC. It happened and that was the end of that. I think after everybody else saw that sh*t, nobody else wanted to try that again. No security. The fight just went on until the fight was over. I’ve never seen any sh*t like that in my life. Crazy.”

However, not all the top-notch fights took place in the stands. Flyweight Brandon Royval emerged victorious over Mexican fighter Brandon Moreno in an exhilarating split-decision bout that went the full distance.

    • Oh F’ off liberal dolt. Men,….and women have been physically fighting for sport forever and if you do not like it, then DO NOT WATCH IT!

  • And who with any remaining common sense would want to go to ‘Mexico’ anywhere? Banning every one of those brave fighters from attending ANY other UFC event, especially that brave thrower of the ‘blind sided’ punch that knocked the guy down, would eliminate at least those clowns from doing that again. That ‘coward’ was not even involved against the guy before he ‘sucker punched’ him.

    • It’s not all of Mexico but in Mexico City you most definitely need to watch your back for sure. I just returned from the coast in Mexico and I can say that you are saver in that part than you are in the states for sure.

  • Dear Ms. Leslie, Humanity (both sexes) has been fighting with fists and weapons since the dawn of time. 99.9% of our history encompasses physical violence. All the well-meaning, feel-good hand-wringing in the world will not change the behavior hard-wired into our psyches by survival instincts.

  • Dana is for every fighter and his country til it comes to American fighters especially with brazil. Always sets the American up for defeat. dana wants to be worlds peace maker , then do it with his money . Most of the good refs have left probably saw the hand writing on the wall. Here’s one for you Tim Kennedy fight the God’s fighter , he couldn’t get off the stool for the next round but big john wouldn’t disqualify him and took extra time to get his ass off the stool and came back with the luckiest punch ever . couldn’t get his ass up with out john the ref helping him . The fix was in !!! It was affordable to be a ufc fan ,but , no more greed takes over use to be able to see last weeks results for free but no more if you don’t belong to 3or 4pay packages you can’t fallow it at all you don’t any of the fighters now a days . Just want to bleed the Americans of money , while other countries get all kind’s of deals . more and more leaning more to Bare Knuckle !!!!!
