In spite of President Joe Biden’s claims that he did not interfere with a long-standing federal criminal investigation into his son Hunter Biden, there are indications suggesting otherwise.

The Justice Department, under Biden’s administration, is now facing accusations in a lawsuit alleging that it declined to pursue potential criminal charges related to “prostitution and debauchery.” Additionally, the DOJ has been accused of refusing to provide relevant information to Congress and the public.

The conservative Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project is now calling on a federal court in Delaware to compel the DOJ to disclose records related to inquiries into whether Hunter Biden violated the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of prostitutes across state lines for paid sexual activities.

In 2023, IRS whistleblowers who had previously participated in the federal investigation of Hunter Biden for several years provided Congress with a collection of documents.

These documents suggested that senior DOJ officials had interfered on Biden’s behalf by restricting certain investigative avenues and delaying specific efforts until after the statute of limitations had passed for certain alleged crimes.

In response, the Republican-led House Oversight Committee sought clarification from the DOJ, but their requests were disregarded.

In September, the committee sent a strongly-worded letter renewing their demands, which were once again ignored.

“DOJ’s decision to ignore the Committee’s request runs afoul of its own policies in the Justice Manual,” the letter from Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said. “The agency’s policies clearly state, ‘it is important that the Department provide timely responses to congressional inquiries.’ Unfortunately, DOJ’s leadership continues to apply unwritten exceptions to its own rules and policies when the Bidens are involved.”

“Testimony from an Internal Revenue Service whistleblower indicated that DOJ compiled a list of potential victims relating to an investigation of Hunter Biden for Mann Act violations,” the letter continued. “These women may be victims under the Crime Victims’ Rights Act and may also be afforded mandatory restitution pursuant to the Mandatory Victim Restitution Act. In light of DOJ’s refusal to communicate in a meaningful way with the Committee, we have great skepticism that DOJ has been adequately communicating with crime victims.”

In September 2023, the New York Post reported that IRS whistleblowers had given Congress documents indicating that Hunter Biden was involved in at least nine incidents where he allegedly communicated and coordinated with prostitutes and traffickers to transport women across state lines for paid sex in Delaware.

Investigators noted that if these allegations were confirmed, they could constitute violations of the Mann Act, which prohibits interstate prostitution and sex trafficking.

It is worth mentioning that Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, partly for violating the Mann Act.

“There were some flying people across state lines, paying for their travel, paying for their hotels. They were what we call Mann Act violations,” IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler told Congress last year of what was found in the Biden probe. “I know that they were compiling them together. I don’t know what they ended up doing with them. I know there was an effort at some point to compile them, but I don’t know what ultimately happened with them.”

The events following the compilation of evidence for alleged Mann Act violations remain shrouded in mystery, with the Department of Justice refusing to disclose any details. This has led to unfulfilled requests from Congress and a lawsuit from the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project, aimed at compelling the DOJ to reveal the information.

“While you shouldn’t transport prostitutes within state lines, it is clearly a federal offense to transport them across state lines,” Oversight Project Executive Director Mike Howell said in a statement. “This is another criminal offense that Hunter has not been charged for, one that we are forcing the Department of Justice to admit that they are tracking, as well as refusing to prosecute.”

Kyle Brosnan, an attorney for the Oversight Project, told Fox News, “If you sort of peel back the layers of the onion, it’s absurd, because there is an overwhelming amount of information that already shows these records exist.” He added that the records were “found on the Hunter Biden laptop, which was entered into evidence in his criminal case in Delaware.”

Regrettably, the DOJ has opted to stay silent and has asserted that acknowledging or refuting the presence of the records, which are already partly in the public domain, would somehow breach privacy concerns for specific individuals, notably Hunter Biden.

  • Well thanks to the Democrats themselves they can now be prosecuted for even crimes past the statue of limitations. What will they say? Two wrongs don’t make a right? But in this case that is exactly what it will do. As if they never go unpunished they will just keep doing it! What we need is one massive run to clean out their crimes! to make sure they can never be part of government again in any way! And there are plenty that need to be in jail! They will call it revenge! But the truth is it will be justice! Proving they are not above the law!
